It was funny to see trailers for R rated movies (50 Shades, Kingsman, ..), including some foreign indie ones briefly showing nudity, when I saw Jupiter Ascending, a PG-13 picture, that's for sure. Americans would probably sue the theater.

Pretty high score on imdb so far: 3.6. I expected 1.6. Some bored, desperate housewives rate this 10/10 that's why the average score is high.

Same here...movie theaters are full these days because the shades.
Personally I find hilarious that all the women who watch this in awe, act all shocked as soon as you put them in front of a conventional standard porn movie. I mean, what's the difference! I actually think porn movies have better acting than this xD

Should've been more serious, darker... Shouldn't focus on lack of sex, but on the style.
It had nothing
And yes the books are horrid. Really bad. Poor grammar. Poor sentence structure.
But it became a hit. And the first movie doesn't even go anywhere!!!!
They missed a few things here and there plot point wise... That if you read the book you'd know, but with all the bad acting it seemed like she was manipulating him, he was manipulating her...
There's one bit that made me lol... appearntly and as the wife says... The author makes it a point of her to number the lip biting... Cool... So they shoot up close the lip biting... Lol yay... Meant to be sexy. It isn't. Anyway... So lip biting is important... So important he would mention it... Mention that it turns him on... Drives him crazy... But nope... Near what I think would seem to be forever of a timeframe he goes and says 'you know what your lip biting does to me' and I'm sitting there... How is she supposed to know since you never really mentioned it?! How am I supposed to know that lip biting turns you on?!?! Like its porn for women and yet it's missing basic dialogue...
Porn has better acting.
