Partially because of how you are and partially on some other shit. But you have all kinds of moments in life.
The only thing you can do is try to do better to achieve those nicer moments in life. And I honestly think you could have done better if you made more compromises with yourself, but hey I get it... no one wants to hear things like that!

Some people just don't generate enough serotonine, and are 'naturally' depressed. It's a bit weird that it's all just chemistry. I couldn't imagine how it must be like (and I'm glad as well).
There must have been a door there in the wall, when I came in.

Not going to take over the topic, but it's far from that..
The shit that happened in my early life, that shaped me into the person I am today, was completely out of my hand and everything was decided by the gov, by "jeugdzorg" and my parents.. All of that leaded to me being unable to function in normal society, unable to finish school due to being super aggressive and so on..
Anyway, this is not the topic for that.

no i'm locked up in my own room without having a future, as it stands, i will not get a job anytime soon, my financial situation will only get worse due to cutbacks from the gov with social support.
I'm sleepy all day lately, no matter how long I sleep, i'm always tired. No puff to even go walk the dog anymore for long distances, brain can't stop overthinking thousands of situations that happened and are going to happen. I'm slowly going insane here and getting strange thoughts of doing harmful things towards others that done something to me in the past...

This exactly, my heart and soul is in giving IT support, setting up servers and networks and provide desktop support. Helping others with my knowledge is what I really like to do.
BUT I need certifications for that, i don't have those and getting them is beyond my financial capability.
The gov here only wants to invest in me if i can find a company that offers me a 6 months contract AFTER i've finished the study for that... And gl finding such a company in current times...

Ah well, maybe one day you will see the light. 
Btw... Have you even studied all the material on your own? Microsoft,Cisco,some entry level programming/scripting... Because while you wait for your financial situation to go better you could already start doing that. Hey you might even do a job you don't like, to better your financial situation...
I already know the answer tho. This is not me giving you shit... but there is a lot more you can do than what you are doing. So... do it.

But don't try to find excuses for him... there is so much more one can do. But we don't. Yes, all of us are guilty of that. Just some more than others.

Yep, since i was in school and almost did exams when i got kicked out and thus fucked up... Twice even..
(first time being Leeuwenborgh with all their lies and deception, got sum of money for me since i was a "problem", and after that they kicked me out for exactly the reason they got the money in the first place. )
(Second being that the school ran out of funds, in the end we had no teachers anymore, the guy that went to internship as first of our class was already done with his internship while the school was still looking for a suitable place for me, and this was practically 2 months before the exams already... Oh and this school gets about €45.000,- per year per student from our gov, yet they still went bankrupt  )
My Cisco knowledge is somewhat limited, but i do know the basics how to program a Cisco router. (during my "Medewerker Beheer ICT (niveau 3)" study)
MCITP, MCDST, MCTS are all studied too, ECDL and ITIL v3 too.. I just need the fucking paper that tells others that i've studied it.. But the knowledge is there, give me an exam right now, and i would pass without a doubt.

Not really trying to find excuses. I'm just stating the issues as i see them myself. Fact is that if you have problem such as his at his age, it's damn near impossible to correct them, and he needs to be very very lucky.
