Notch just bought the single most expensive property in Beverly Hills; a $70m high tech villa. It's also on LOLtaku but I'm not linking to them.
lollol, what was that about being such a humble, down to earth guy he presented himself as
next comes the yacht, the jet, then he goes into space, then he gets 3 more houses
When you've just been handed $2.5bn (and even if he paid half to his team when he sold the company, that's still $1.25bn left) - what would you do? Invest loads, buy everything you ever wanted or dreamed or saw, invest some more, set up charities, buy more stuff
Or would anyone be interested in such? Maybe some heavily modded stuff.
Some Feed The Beast modpacks for example.
Maybe FTB Infinity (on expert mode it's a chore )
Or Direwolf's latest.
I think I might get a MC fever again soon, and I usually play alone until I've built a massive automated base and get bored but it might be nicer to play with more people.

FTB Infinity is very fun, SkyFactory 2.5 as well (pretty OP though). Never played together with someone else before though (apart from standard MC).
You guys should give TechNodeFirmaCraft a try, way more fun than most of FTB's modpacks. You start from the stone age and getting even your first pickaxe is a lot of work - eventually though you'll get to the tech mods, and it'll feel like an actual reward; creators put a lot of effort into making sure the mods play well together so there's no exploity shortcuts as far as progress goes.
Especially good if you're into coop play, for some it might be a bit grindy for solo play.
That's Japan what with it's Samurai culture and wood carvings of what the fisherman's wife does with the local sea-life.
China is more Three Kingdoms and bad-ass bromance which is slowly plotting the takeover of the world or some such one industry at a time.
Japan has some pretty sweet tech though I suppose.
EDIT: Though I guess what Japan did with anime during the 80's and 90's will kinda be a bit of a stigma for years to come though there were really good content too ha ha.
On a more serious note it's almost mind-boggling how big of a thing gaming actually is in China and how some of the giants in this industry are absolutely massive compared to most any other western studio even if there's heavy regulations on content and many other rules and such for what's appropriate.
Then again a population of one billion and rising and a economy growth has probably changed things up a lot over the last few decades little by little, it is going to be interesting to see China's position on the world market in a few years but they already have a very strong position.
EDIT: Though I guess landmass wise there's a bit of a size difference and Japan never really had anyone like Ghengis personally making the country grow larger one baby at a time. (Well bit of a different side but still caused a population boom and all kinds of things got changed around as his horde had all the fun with most of Europe.)
(Japan does still have a bit of a enmity with Korea I believe due to several wars throughout history stretching into World War 2 and beyond.)
EDIT: Well enough of the history stuff and back to exploding cactus extremists.
And yeah, don't consider the above accurate. Myths and fiction tend to blur things a bit as it is with very old historical records among other things and there's a lot more to it than some small aspect here and there for each respective country and their changes throughout history.
(Western involvement since the 1800's and 1900's probably didn't help either in many cases, Britain and their involvement with China for example though also several other countries though also Spain, France and some others though some of this was even earlier in other parts of the world such as South America.)
