Looking from that they're probably all trying to turn left to go on to the industrial estate? If that's the case you'd have the same issue whether they used one lane or three, there's only a one lane off ramp. They have said that they're still working on some of the niggles with the traffic but most of them can be sorted with proper planning.

This just sounds like a bad layout.

I had problem at first as well, but once you understand how to layout a proper road network it works quite nicely.

To make it short :

- 6 lanes roads will remain useless, if everyone have to go to the same area.
(Which is kinda obvious, why would you expect people to use left lanes if they have to take the first highway exit)
- solution : spread the traffic with alternates roads

While some of you brooded over the input to the city, I said "fuck it, 2 lane road it is". Now that traffic starts to matter at my 40k pop I notice bottlenecks everywhere Laughing

Or ... with 7 Million funds, I could just bulldoze everything and start over. That could be faster, and who cares about the people, right?

edit Just raised taxes by 2% points across the board, to generate more funds for my city reset plan. I should not govern things Laughing

Just bulldozed my industry area to set it up on a new location and when im just done with that i unlock the new streets, fml

Wish they would make the roads available from the beginning on.

Wish they would make the roads available from the beginning on.

There's the option to "upgrade roads", that might help you depending on what you want to do.
When I got the better versions of the basic roads, I simply went over my existing ones and upgraded them. It's to the left of the road types, where you get to choose "straight road - curved road - free-form road - upgrade road".

I already posted that i paid € 13,- for the russian version which is multilanguage and just needs russian or ukrain activation (g2play).

I'd be interested in that price, just not sure how to go about with russian activation lol. Is there a walkthrough on how to do that, also does it limit anything if it's the ru version?

Game can be quite fun, but splitting 4 lane road to 2 separate one ways seems impossible without creating an intersection

has anyone figured out how to make a train intersection thats not the size of 4 city blocks? Sad

Im trying to run my passenger rail with my highway like this

but since you cannot 'cross tracks' to make a + shaped intersection with it, then add the arcs on the side..
when I come to an intersection unless I make it HUGE and overly complicated it doesn't work

it wont let you do this (minus the tunnels..just the tracks)

My game looks like I play in 640x480 even in 1080p with AA enabled... Neutral

it is 3440x1440. I haven't had the time to fiddle with the graph settings yet. Just wanted to play as fast as possible Smile

Try to set the tilt slider to a lower setting, that's the DoF. Should make it less blurry. I have it completely disabled.

On a side note: holy shit, 1400 people subscribed to my intersection. Very Happy

I noticed that when you select a zone, the policy window title changes to 'zone-policy'. So you could try the lower traffic policy (whatever it's called).

I'm having fun just creating single or two tile commercials in residential areas, to see the types of cafés, pharmacies and other small business that pop up.

select your created district and then select policies.. there should be a policy which discourages heavy traffic
