gimme online demo first so i can check the netcode, given the ratio so far for online fighting games with an acceptable netcode of 1:20 , i definitely wont just blindly trust them.
the most recent fighter i tried, the new version of doa 5, is unplayable without "lag tactics", with a delay of atleast 200 ms even against players a few km away from you.
any truly professional review of a fighting game nowadays should come with an in-depth analysis of online lag, tested across many sessions against players from your own and other regions.
this is something that easily ruins the whole game, unless you wanna play single player solely, but that would be a waste of money.

+1
think im gonna stick with the iso demo at release and will wait what people say about the netcode, hope its good and not regionlock stuff etc like before and i will buy it
Ahaha- awesome!
Guys, the thing is that netcode and using scripts lie on one side of the balance among the possible problems in such game...sooo.... u are gonna to be ready for all jitters before release. And it is not only mp game for me.
Kombat Pack grants early access to 4 new playable characters and skin packs. Stalk and slash your opponents as Horror Icon Jason Voorhees, or play as Predator, the Ultimate Hunter. Two Klassic Mortal Kombat characters complete the offer. Each playable character comes with a themed skin pack including three new skins for select characters. Also includes The Samurai Pack available on April 14th2015.
You may be playing against a really, really infuriatingly tough opponent online in Mortal Kombat X, but it's not advised to quit the match in a fit of rage.
Speaking during their livestream today, developers at NetherRealm studios explained how they plan to punish rage quitters: Quitalities. And yes, it fits nicely with Mortal Kombat's penchant for gore.
"If you quit, your head blows up and the other guy wins," they simply stated.

As long as the other person gains a WIN in it's stats, that'd be great then.. Else NOPE
ASUS X570 TUF GAMING PLUS, 32GB DDR4@2666 ,RYZEN 5800X3D (NO OC),GIGABYTE RTX 4070 Super GAMING OC, Western Digital Blue 4TB 5400RPM + SAMSUNG 860 EVO 500+1TB GB SSDs , OEM SATA DVD 22xNoctua NH-D15 Chromax Black, BenQ XL2420T Case: Be Quiet! DARK BASE PRO 901. PSU CORSAIR RM1200 SHIFT
why should you not get a win if the other person quits? doh...
thats a funny way to end the game if the second players ragequits or connection gets interrupted. and 100 times better than just the game freezing with a popup -> connection lost

Sheeva was a much weaker character than Goro, just had a similar move set. Sheeva is not a tough character to beat, really. Neither is Goro/Kintaro to be honest, they are very slow.
