Might be picking it up when it's at least half the price (I know... was doubting too much when it was cheap) it's one of the two I wanted to play (other one FF Realm Reborn)... but didn't look forward to having a subscription at that time. 
Always loved the exploring part in this one. Would usually bump into places/persons that the quests didn't guide you to.

so about horses, i read now that after 1.6 there are no differences regarding their 3 stats so whats the difference between the 10k and 42k one...only the appearance?

Yep and I think it has +10 storage/speed/stamina (based on horse). Go for cheaper one itself. You can later feed it (250g for +1 in storage/stamina/speed) as you like.

That's the old system. New system there are no longer any horse stats, they're just skins, you instead level up riding skills.

I live In the Boston, Ma area of the east coast US so the ping to most European servers
is about the same as if I played on servers in California... so if you guys could let me know so I can choose it will be appreciated
