As a newcomer to a souls game, I am afraid and excited. Will probably end up breaking something through the play-through due to rage.

first hour or 2 will be brutal and you will feel raped.
then you will see the light, completely rethink the way you play it, adapt to a much more precise and patient style.
after a while, you will manage to do things you thought impossible,
first few hours with a souls game are quite cathartic. Very Happy

You dont need to be afraid. Just be excited. Frustration will fade anyway, when you kill the first boss. You will get that unique feeling of reward and satisfaction.
If you ever strugle to defeat a Boss you can summon other players to help you. Souls games have a really nice community.

Well I told myself after preordering The Order on US PSN, I wouldn't do it again. If it wasn't for Dying Light retail being delayed a month in the UK, I wouldn't have done it at all. But this is Bloodborne dammit and I couldn't help myself knowing it's the only option Is have to play it ASAP lol. I prefer to get the retail games coz then I can trade them in if need be. Plus I'm running out of space on my 1TB drive lol. I must admit having the game to play without inserting or swapping discs is very nice too lol.

Nah. I order retail games from Simplygames.com. If the game is due for release in the UK on a Friday as Bloodborne is, I would get it the day before. I already paid for my preorder on US PSN so I can't really change my mind anyway. Plus I'll be able to preload the game before Tuesday in time to play on Tuesday Smile

either way the online functionality will only work after day 1 patch, so getting it earlier you wont have the online functionalities that are an important part of a souls game experience.
