Flint is just as great as ever (except if you are a homophobic person, of course). But yeah, Silver is finally making his way up to awesomeness as the show inspiration should suggest
I really didn't like Flint much in season 1. He seemed somewhat bland and not very convincing as the sly devil they painted him to be. I felt his character development was progressing way too slowly. Season 2 is a whole different story, however - he's much, much better now.
Always liked Silver, but it's true he's slowly gaining momentum too
By the look of things Abigail was not happy about what happened to Miranda. She was really fond of her and considering the way things happened she might think that her farther sort of betrayed her. Moreover, Flint being in captivity might tell her (I'm sure she'll see him again after ep09) about the role her farther played in his,Thomas and Miranda's downfall. And I believe she won't like it either.
I bet one way or another she is gonna leave Carolina with Flint (maybe she'll help him escape)

All of her blabbing about how beneficial she's to that mission, it ended up with her fucking up the whole thing with a burst of emotions. I didn't like her character from the start.
I think what happened was understandable. She was carrying for years this pain and with no apparent person to put the blame on. And then suddenly here he was..right in front of them. And what's worse this person used to be their closest friend and confidant who betrayed their trust and friendship.Dat outburst was long overdue.
being rescued will abandon this naïve mission of his once and for all and join the pirate cause, and we will be finally seeing plenty of ship battles next season! Though he must probably will end up being haunted forever and drawn into serious alcoholic issues.
