Looks like a ton of fun to design.

When 3D printers become cheaper and more accurate, I'll definitely get one just for this kind of stuff - to create your own pawns, to create custom games, etc.

Meh. I'd want it if it was a cool semi-original board game. But it's just another rehash of monopoly. Monopoly was fine. I don't need star wars, star trek, and fallout monopoly. They should have made something original. Or at least something that hasn't been done 1000 times. Fallout Catan or something. *shrug*

It's fan-made. By a single person. Who states:
Quote:
It is based on Monopoly, but aside from purchasing properties, collecting rent, and a few other things, the mechanics of the game are completely different.

...which sparks my interest even more.
His dedication and commitment are definitely praiseworthy.

I Am Disappoint
The tic-tac-toe of boardgames...
It doesn't even make any sense in fallout context.
Fallout should be about resource management, war and faction relationships with the odd dice roll side quest and random encounter.

So I have this craving for replaying and finally finishing F3.
Any good mods to look out for? I tried to search through nexus but there is just too much of it.

yeah, apparently there's two categories in speed running, strict and any category,

this being the any one. don't even know why they bother promoting glitchers though.

IMO, the only proper speed run in a game= highest difficulty and no glitching.

I was sure that was his first playthrough, he was just walking in random directions and lucked out by finding main quest critical places. Rolling Eyes

Oh man, I hope Bethesda announces Fallout 4 in their upcoming E3 event. We really need a good post-apoc open world game with today's graphics.

I also miss the Stalker universe. It is such a fucking downer that IPs like that gets dropped by shit like Assassin's Creed get tons of sequels and spin-offs. Ah well, the consumers decide, I guess.

Been trying to replay this, but the constant crashing (just the GOTY edition, not a single mod) got the better of me and made me uninstall.. Even that ini change/added entry didn't fix my crashes Sad
FO:NV booted up and hours gamesession without a single crash.... :\
But it's so empty and not really what i wanted to replay.. So any more tips that i can try for keeping FO3 from crashing?!

So it's just the steam version that's crashing?! So if i download the pirated GOTY i don't get these constant crashes?!
Odd though since NV is the same engine, so would expect that one to crash too.. but nope.

Shouldn't be an issue with the crash, it's the multi-core (8 with my HT) that is causing it (at least, according to multiple posts). So even IF i would go to my win7 install, it would still crash..

I got the game on Steam, but I always use the ISO GOTY.
Less problems and crashing. It will still crash once in a while (it's to be expected from Fallout), but not as much.

Win 7 ain't the problem, finished the game twice on my Win 7 (ultimate).

Why would the Steam version be crashing? The only thing I could think of is the overlay (and achievements).

try disabling HT then while playing it? I'd still try win7 just in case if I were you.
