The Steam store doesn't update until two hours from now, unless of course Obsidian managed to get Valve to unlock the game early.
(If the GOG version is out now then a release is probably not far off since they are DRM free.)

Steam updates 17:00 UK time as USA is already in daylight savings.
GOG version suck for updates im waiting for steam.
Unfortunately yeah they tend to lag behind a bit, probably more due to the developers than GOG's own team though they do have to pack the releases and update the base version.
(Guess things will be different or at least a bit better with Witcher 3 and GOG's own upcoming digital content delivery service or what they are called.)

Well at least we're going after the global clock and not Valve time..
(Although on occasion a release can be delayed a few hours while someone from Valve fumbles around with the server settings or whatever is going on in their HQ, I like the version with the big red unlock button myself.)

Don't want to start a debate, but, IMHO, this is the worst work around from Obsidian, and the farthest thing from a true RPG. Simply put, this subproduct is likable only to a minority of hardcore CCRPG players, more so if compared to modern masterwork DA: Inquisition.
It lacks the highly praised fetch FedEx quest system from DOA and Skyrim, as the popular dialogue wheel mechanism and the combat elements from another Bioware's master piece, Mass Effects 3, where gorgeous and complex button mashing mechanics make fights so brilliant. You will hate the return of the old-school tactical view from the mediocre DA:Origins, which only hardcore players who appreciate pausing the game all the time, breaking the pace of combat. Friendly fire is enabled by default, making the game too easy.
Overall, by adding the complexity and annoyance of old-school RPG, removing the best elements from 2 most famous modern RPGs, as the exciting button mashing combat mechanics to the game, this game has reached the lowest low of RPGs that none in the world could ever reach. This is some anachronistic piece of garbage no one should care for. ""
