No, rowing as in... rowing  I've got an indoor rower. It's probably da best piece of workout equipment to have in your apartment if going to a gym is not an option.

I don't get it. Why is the show called "Better call saul" and they make a whole episode about a side character and it's not relevant to Saul in any way.
I liked the episode but filler episodes like these make me feel like the story's going nowhere

And how exactly you know it's not relevant? You do know the whole story of Saul's before BB? It's pretty clear Mike and Saul's shared a god damn story before BB.

Good point. I just hope that it's not like the Breaking Bad's "Walt catching a fly" episode.

Saul the gentleman 
Loved the episode, it was quite bittersweet. He's still so down to earth and human, I'm really curious to see when (and why) the "switch" will occur.

Finally caught up with the series and its great ! Best in 2015 so far.
Saul trying hard not to became BB "You don’t want a criminal lawyer, you want a criminal lawyer." but slipping bit by bit nevertheless.

I didn't watch Breaking Bad beyond the first season (and I liked that one, can't even remember why I stopped watching).
Would it be a good idea to start again, but now to start with this one since it's a prequel to BB?

Not so sure about that either. The show actually starts with one scene AFTER BB. We probably won't be getting more of those, but there's a myriad of jokes/facts/details you'll miss, because they're directly connected to BB. And it's also possible BMC could spoil its predecessor with some stuff, you never know - just because it's set in the past doesn't mean it won't reveal some knowledge that stays hidden for longer in Breaking Bad (it kinda already did when it comes to Mike).

Another +1 from me 
One of the reasons why I'm enjoying this show so much, is that you get to see and know some of the Breaking Bad characters under a new, completely different light. It would be enjoyable anyway, but if you are fully aware of the context then it becomes exponentially better in my opinion.
That's also reinforced by the character development, which is really good so far (dat brand new Chuck in the latest episode ).

I was kind hoping for more criminal stuff like Breaking Bad. Michael Mando's character is good but he hasnt been in it for a few episodes now.
