Ok...Im trying to make a WW1 movie...but I dont have enough extras...and none are available for hire, wtf do i do? Like, I wanna have a lead character and a supporting one, but the rest need to be extras so I can have some decent battle scenes...like one scene I wanna have the british soldiers rushing a german position, get mowed down by machine gun fire...then they drag out the wounded and launch another attack which succeeds etc etc

But I need extras so I can have enough ppl die and shit ya know? Laughing
I only have 3 stars - 2 male and 1 female and 1 or 2 extras...which I cant seem to place in the movie...? Tried using the tuts but they dont help....

Do i have to wait till i have like 10 extras before i can fill all the spots i need?

I know! There are like 0 wannabe actors, this cant be, prolly have something to do with your lot, becaue i cant manage on 2 actors and 2 directors FILLING IN AS ACTORS all the way until 2000

And how do we delete buildings?? I have messed around for ages, cant figure out how to delete buildings :S

pick up a Builder and drop him on the the Bomb icon on the edge of a building. You can also move a building this way.

i can has computar?!

1. reject people from the other employment officers and they will eventually try for another job like actor etc. Depending on the size of your studio there is a limitation to how many people can be in your lot at the same time.

2. Grab one of your builders and hover them over the building you want to destroy. You'll see two or three targets to place them on. One of them will be for destroying/selling the building.

True thyttel, but i should never have to put a Janitor as an Actor, i've put a dude searching for the crew job as a researcher. but i mean, if they get the job they are looking for then they start with some experience already, you just dont give a janitor the lead role, you give it to a new promising actor wannabe! Sad

What I ment was, reject some of the people standing in cue infront of the other offices waiting for a job. Like you might have 5 people waiting for a job infront of the job office for janitor, repair man. You don't have to sack anyone. Just reject the people waiting in line. They will then leave that line and go look for another job.

I'm so disappointed with this game, I do not know where to start.

The movements your characters are able to make (for instance when they kiss) are so repetitive. You'll notice how the same animations are used over and over again. Just check the officiall homepage, see the demo-movies, and you'll know what I mean.

For instance:

Guy carries dead guy
Guy checks corpse (if it's alive)
Guy is terrified
Guy runs away
Guy kisses girl

All these are based on identical movement schemes, it's Déja Vu over and over again :/

Well, its like 1930 or something in my game, I wanted to make a WW1 hit...since ur supposed to try to make movies that ppl would be interested in the given time period.
Like when they have that icon thing that said 8 pilots flew around the world and it gives a + to the action genre, I released an action movie like 6 months later and it got wicked reviews

Hmmm...I have 3 actors and 2 directors and 2 extras...and one of the director's has like 65% experience for horror and one of my actors has like 80% horror, yet when i release a horror movie with those 2, it gets like 1 star at most....wtf? The actor has good physical traits, so hes supposed to be good looking, i dont get what the fuckin problem is.

Also, how to import ur Stars from the Star Maker thing? I made like 2 stars but i cant figure out how to import them Confused

you do both.

If you just want to make movies u can just go into sandbox mode Smile

All your movies will suck for a long time lol.... just goto the import star option in the actors place... just drag a person onto the "Import" one..

i got my copy today and just played for an hour or two (waited for xfire support) and the actual "game" is alot better than I thought, very "Tycoon"-esq. Quite difficult too, they keep slating my stars and sets! Just did the first award ceremony, I must say though some of the scripts that your guys write are terrible.. one I had was a guy walks into a saloon, shoots a guy. Thats it. Another was a massive dialogue.. not so great in silent films let alone with no lip sync so it just looked like 2 people standing in silence for 2 minutes.

Hi guys, my first post, and im sorry, i need help

Anybody else got this problem?

The game work ok, until about 30 minutes in the game. Then i see the actors faces fullscreen and pic changes between the actors, and then i get a windows bluescreen and the computer reboot. I start the game and contunue playing, but the same thing happens around 30 min.

Is this something you know about?

AMD64 1.8 Ghz 2.8+, GF 6800LE, drivers 77xx, 1024 DDR-RAM. DX 9.0c

played it from yesterday ... i must say its pretty neat game Very Happy specially feature to do your own movies with own subtitles and stuff. but its hell of a hard work to make something that has sense so i made only one movie just to see how it looks. now im making two coloured ones Very Happy for me its like tycoon game and animation studio in one. i dunno maybe scenes are repetetive but who cares. i think that everyone will find everything they need to make everything Wink besides that i thing expansion packs and stuff will come and will be neat even more. definetelyy one of best tycoons ever played.... but still... transport tycoon rules Very Happy

AMD 64 3800+ ~2.7Ghz, 2GB Ram, GF 7800gs + bliss 512 RAM...

the game is ok, but as evryone else i got a shitload of problem getting ppl. i do have a bunch well like 3-4 directors and 6-7 stars, and a bunch of other guys, but i so need more ppl for builders and janitors and i have no idea what to do... i got plenty of cash (2.8 mil to be exact) i've been number 1 for quite sometime until my buildings started to collaps cus my builders dont got time to repair evryting... anyone got a tip?
