I agree. Obsidian folded. And they did it, because of the demands of some loud, insecure people regarding a marginal detail. If they kept silent it would have blown over in a week tops.

Let me guess, you're having a Chanter in your party?
New game is around 170kb packed. After you play for a while it rises up to 5mb packed. Mind that packed bit. 5mb can still be a healthy save. You won't notice if game got effected by looking at savegame size alone. My infected game was 2mb in size, but in there I had 18mb mobileobjects.sav, and I was on the lowest side of it. It can go up to 45mb, and you won't notice it.

You're awesome. Shame the company isn't. This could have easily been dealt with by adding in an options menu option "Hide potentially offensive backer content? YES/NO" instead, ah fuck it. Never mind, no more said about it, it's done. Sadly. But it's done. Your mod is awesome and if it works on the Yarr version; YAY! \o/

Been testing a bit back and forth deciding what class to roll. Not playing very far with either, and planning to enjoy the game this Easter. But after this debacle I just don't fucking care anymore. Fuck humanity, what the actually fuck is going on. Jesus fucking christ, godamnit. They fucking ruined a game I've wanted to play the most since baldurs gate 2. How does this shit make the way into video games? Why can't we go back 15 years?

It's far from ruined. Other than my game getting ffucked with the companion bug, I didn't have any other problems. Unfortunately it was literally a gamestopping bug. (Not sure of the stat bug since I do have several chars with magic items equipped and I haven't loaded the game since the ranger bug...)
Just give it a couple of patches and it will be much better.

Didn't the patch say they were adding a setting for MSAA? I don't see it anywhere.
By the way there's a new twist to the whole SJW controversy. The backer who created the original poem said Obsidian was never planning to change it themselves, they gave him a choice if he wanted to change it or not (and he chose to):

Isn't it unity? you can find AA settings for unity engine games in the guru3d AA thread if you own an nvidia card.

Kinda disappointed that Obsidian caved. Who gives a fuck about some fucker who probably didn't even back the game? Game has been kickstarted, you already covered costs and more, and sales are like a bonus.
Obsidian can kickstart another game fine, no need to pander to needlessly sensitive douchebags.

Just read about that on Steam, seems it has backfired a bit instead so leaving it alone might have been the better choice though it's good to know that Obsidian asked him instead of just removing it outright.

Fucking end boss fight...so bugged. Still, managed to finish it pre-patch, even if id did take me afew retries to do it... My party was so strong we destroyed the boss i 3 seconds, which apparently was not supposed to happen. Game froze. NEXT. Tanks become non-responsive, boss instakills casters. NEXT. Kill boss according to the script, main char and two others drop to 0 endurance, but no problem, right? Wrong. After the fight my Godlike gets up, does not respond to any commands. Yes, thst is in fact an issue.
Also some piece of advice, relatively spoiler free I think:
Never make a deal with dragon, never make people magically forget their past and never just turn off ancient deadly machinery when you have the option to destroy it.
