That's great that you liked a Hitman game, but what does it have to do with Deus Ex? |
They are both sexist videogames since they are starring male protagonists for one.

"a phenomenon."

Uhm ... Absolution as run'n'gun?
Wow. That's funny. I remember it being a pretty great stealth game. Smaller than predecessors, sure, but it was solid as fuck.
There were a LOT of challenges as well. You could make the game as hard on yourself as you wanted.
Ran and looked absolutely great, too.
This engine will do wonders for DE.

I only just read this, but
I so hope that whatever the next Hitman or Deus Ex is, it's nothing like Hitman: Abomination at all. Bloody awful game. Tomb Raider had more to do with Tomb Raider than that piece of shit did with Hitman or stealth.

We are talking about the engine here, and that's great.
Also, about blending in - it was more challenging than any Hitman game before it. You just had to be smart about it.

The thing is it was more challenging for the wrong reasons. Awful level design being the main one.

i still remember that one, 2 room level, where i had to open a door, do a 5 second walk down a straight corridor, sneak by the guard room, and open a door loading a new level
And lets not forget latex nuns that blow up half a hotel, but they are there to clean up a scene from public eye
It had a few good scenes, and it could be pretty challenging at times, but overall, yep, a flop.

What a moron. WHat does he mean by "does anyone care about hair"? No? So they shouldn't try to create realistic hair and fur? How many people didn't care about the hair in for example DA:I?
Every small detail adds to the overal experience. Does anyone care about realistic animations? Why invest all the time and money in motion capturing and shit while it can be used for other things? |
Honestly, I couldn't agree more.
I mean we have amazing technology, it would be a shame to not use it properly.
That's why we've decided to build the new Jensen around TressFX 4. Because he's worth it!
