cjs-keys is legit, I use them frequently. Just double check the stock availability, otherwise you will have to wait a day or so to get the key.

I'd wait with ordering from these cdkey shops, it is unclear if there will be a download provided for the retails keys they sell through rockstar's service, or even if the retail copy will work without the DVD in the drive.

Yup.


I have a pretty fast internet connection now thanks to fiber cable so for a while I was actually contemplating skipping preload and downloading it straight when it unlocks as that could actually end up being faster (And less harsh on the HDD.) but that went out the window after a few more moments of thought as I suspect the servers will be under heavy load from others who also directly download the game and then there's the data send for decrypting the preload files also slowing down the service.

Thankfully Valve has pretty good server side stability these days but I still expect Steam to be pretty stressed up once the preload starts and then once again when the game unlocks. Very Happy
(Whether it will actually go down or not I can't say but it could happen as this is such a large release or how to say, despite it being released on PC last.)

Aye, with the launch of any massively hyped/anticipated game, Steam often just crumbles so whether you preloaded or whether you're downloading fresh... expect a hell of a long time before you can play grinhurt Really, Valve needs to fix their decryption and verification stuff, it's embarrassing Sad

Yeah, thankfully I can at least wait a few more days before preloading as there's no rush with that, need to clear a little bit more disk space as the HDD can get a bit sluggish under 20 - 25% free space and I'm just above that threshold so 60 GB will break it. Very Happy
(30% I think is optimal not to go under for NTFS but it only really starts slowing down once you go below 15% though it can be noticeable above that too.)
