Quote: | Anti-aliasing: FXAA, MSAA and Nvidia TXAA supported. |
What's this crap? Where is SMAA?
MSAA- performance hit
TXAA - blurry mess
FXAA - less blurry mess

That PC Gamer article sounds encouraging when it comes to performance.

I doubt I will be able to run in 3440x1440 resolution (which is what I usually do...) but 1080p would be nice. 4770k/32gb/evga780sc...hopefully enough. Else I just have to run it at lower until I can afford new card(s)
shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.

I like the huge amount of options they have, so even if the performance at a certain resolution isn't the best u could always lower some of the other stuff.

Some interview about the port on derpspot
http://www.gamespot.com/articles/what-new-things-should-you-expect-in-gta-v-pc/1100-6426472/
Quote: | We plan to deliver updates to PC and consoles simultaneously. There can be occasional variations in timing based on specifics from one console to another but PC will not be on a separate timetable to other platforms. |
Quote: | It comes down to bandwidth. We want each version of the game to be the best it can possibly be, and that means having the core members of the original GTA V team working closely with the best PC developers from across all Rockstar studios--the same crew that did great work on the PC versions of Max Payne 3, L.A. Noire and GTA IV. Essentially, a large portion of the team that worked on GTA V for PS3 and Xbox 360 also worked on the PS4 and Xbox One versions and all of the GTA Online content, including Heists. Since the new generation console versions and the PC version share similar architecture, the team also continued to work on the PC version. With each version adding features and requiring the focus of the same key people, that takes time. However, the result is a PC version that draws from a huge pool of knowledge inside the team to deliver a game of the highest possible quality in every way. We’re really excited for people to play GTA V on PC, it is the ultimate version of an amazing game. |

According to gry-online.pl the following rig has no issues with 1080@60 ultra:
cpu: Intel Core i7-4770K 3,5Ghz;
gpu: Nvidia GeForce GTX 980 8GB;
memory: 32 GB RAM
But it's a no go for 4k - they had to turn stuff down/off

edit:
According to the article the draw distance is 4x longer than the ps360 one, but you can see some texture pop-ups

From GameInformer:
Quote: | It may not be the Spotify integration we were hoping for, but Rockstar is letting players make their own radio station using music files on their computer. After putting copies of song selections into a specific folder, you can listen to them on the Self Radio station. An auto scan will identify new songs as you add them upon starting the game.
Players have a few different options for listening to these custom soundtracks. You can play them sequentially, shuffle the collection, or have Rockstar integrate them into a radio experience complete with commercial breaks, station IDs, bumpers, and banter between DJs Cliff Lee and Andee, who you may remember from Lips 106 in Liberty City Stories. In the pause menu you can choose whether you want to have the songs play in the order you have them in the folder or to let the game analyze the collection and build a playlist order. |
