is graham the last boss if I dont have 3 cords?
does the new game plus starts after beating the game or does the doll ask if you wanna start new game just like in ds2?
If you mean Gehrman - then yes, sort of. You don't have to fight him though. NG+ starts automatically but there is a way to opt out by using a bold hunter's mark

Spoiler:
Im currently at the moment when hub burns and the wants to fight, I already choosed not to submit my life so he is behind the fog and fight starts automatically. If I beat him game will end? Dont wanna end my playthrough already
Yes, it will end. So finish up everything before beating him unless you have eaten 3 pieces of the cord.
Spoiler:
and if I eat them something else happens? or do I get just different ending? head about some optional end game boss(es), moon presence or something like that
If you don' eat three pieces of the cord the game will end after you beat Gherman. If you eat them you get a chance to fight another boss and get another ending.
if you wanna finish the story, make a copy of your savegame on a usb drive and copy it back to your ps4 after the ending, then do all the optional stuff you want. thats what i did too.
So I beat the game twice and played around with coop and PVP.
1. The atmosphere, lore and general art direction are superb - definitely the best of all Souls games narrowly edging out my previous favourite - Demon's Souls.
2. The additions to the fighing mechanics are really nice and fresh - faster dodges, health regain, new parries, trick weapons.
3. The weapons are generally well designed, although obviously they are mostly rehashes of old Souls weapons.
4. Enemies and bosses look nice and fit the setting well but most follow the usual Souls stereotypes. Some were pretty cool though.
5. Hunters are fun to fight with but they have ungodly ammounts of health, infinite stamina and bullets which prolongs the fights unnecessarily.
6. My main gripe with the game is lack of build variety - in character progression, weapons, armour, spells. Everything is geared towards fast close-quarter melee fighting.
7. Another problem is pvp - there are no duels, covenants suck balls, connectivity has major issues. The fighting itself is a chugfest and at this point 90% of people are Ludwig's with an occasional Chikage bloodtinge or a Blades of Mercy user.
That is an awesome article. It really makes me respect the devs for creating such a detailed story and just adds to the awesomeness that is Miyazaki

the best farming spots are in depth 5 chalice imo, there are places where i can get 50k in a minute. gonna have to grind some vitality there to boost my hp to prepare for the hp-halving defilement chalice, its a pain.
Playing through the Defiled Chalice now. I read some people say it's the hardest challenge in any souls game ever. You get a constant debuff that reduces your hp by 50%. I just beat the second boss... and it's definitely doable. My stats are Vit50/End32/Str50/Skl27/whocares/whocares. Level 136. I used the sword part of kirkhammer. I'm trying to get to the
yep defiled is a bitch, am on the last layer of it, then on to depth 5. finished all the other chalices including their depth 5 dungeons, ng+ is gonna be a joke after this
step 1: get to the area in unseen village where an amygdala shoots a laser at you, search for a broken part of the fence at the side and drop down there. continue onwards to find the upper cathedral ward key.
step 2: now you can get past the locked door at the top of the tower to the right of cathedral ward bonfire, you will be in upper cathedral ward.
step 3: kill erebrias, the main optional boss of upper cathedral ward to get the izs chalice.
I didn't do that - was considering doing the dupe before it was patched to get a max level char for fun but discovered that it would actually kill all the fun instead. I mean with 45-50 VIT the game already becomes quite easy.
Got two alts going, one for a skill build, and for an arcane/tinge build

Just beat the last layer of defiled. I still need to do the other depth 5s for the Red Jelly though. Onto those....then the final!
why alts when you can max out shit on one char, beyond 50 its diminishing results anyway.
Mostly for PvP and different weapon play-styles. Level 100 is currently being discussed as the community level cap for coop and pvp. So for example if you get to level 150+ your chances of finding players to play with are much smaller, since you need to be within the same range as other players to play together.
Main is a pure strength build with ludwigs blade/hunter axe/kirkhammer
1st alt, is a skill build for cane/blades of mercy
2nd alt, is a bloodtinge/skill build for chikage/evelyns rifle
I've gone through the game once completely legit and it took 45 hours.... I am not doing that again... I want to have alt's that use different weapons and are still within the community cap
This is why I do these things
