I don't get how to play this game.
Even on the really ridiculously low levels, I just can't accomplish anything.
And the enemy AI keeps repeating the same maneuvers all the time, and my defense stays well clear of their attackers (they probably believe them to be dangerous).
1. Enemy AI gets posession of the ball.
2. No matter how I try to intercept (by pressing every godfreaking button there is), they keep it.
3. They run down to the side of the penalty area, and shoot a pass to someone inside the penalty area, after which the AI scores.
Rinse and repeat.
I did barely manage to score against only an opposing goalkeeper (meaning, training mode). Every shot of mine either went 20 yards off goal, or straight at the goalie. No matter how much I passed the ball (also you need to be very careful about pressing the "shoot"-button too many times, or too long, that's a sure way to miss).
Played it for about three hours, I probably should realize this isn't for me, too high difficulty, and not enough casual fun.

only button you'll need is the sliding button for a sliding. on other way to intercept without taking a faul against you is to walk... against the man with the ball. no need to press any button.

What did you expect ? its PES ... same shit as PES 1,2,3 & 4 ..... sometimes this game makes Fifa look like its the best football game on the market, even tho its terrible.
The bottom line this game is dead, its the same old shit and its just terrible.

hehe, thats a funny post fisk.
why not go to the training menu & let the game show you all the moves you need to know. Most importantly, you need to use a pad simiilar to a PS2's. If you're already doing these things then there's no hope for you

This release is very big .
Will there be a CD release in some of the previous versions ?
And if not , which files could I delete to make it smaller ( im talking about movies etc. that come with the dvd ) ?

I think it will take pretty long time to be cracked, cause it's like in mmorpg's where ui cant go online on official servers, and that means that u have to do cracked servers (server emulators) and that takes time cause in PES5 and in mmorpg's u dont get the server data or what is it called but like in FPS games u get them with the game and u can make your own servers, so thats why FPS games have cracked servers allmost right away and in PES5 and mmorpg games it takes time.

it IS a console game but surely you can change resolution to make it look better? Your monitor is 19" so you need to play in 1280 x 1024 res, If its not that I guess its you GFX card

I think the problem is ghosting because LCDs don't update quick enough, part of the reason why I went back to a CRT.
The other was the cost of having to keep upgrading the graphics card to one that can do 1280 * 1024. I upgrdaded from a 9800pro to an X800xt so for the 2/3 months between HL2/Doom 3/Far Cry, which I can max out, I was happy, then Fear/Cod 2 came out and I'm back looking for freaking tweak faqs again.

I think you're right. I'm gonna have to keep my CRT on my desk just for this game. Kinda defeats the point of saving space with a TFT but shit happens I guess.

That means your LCD sucks, I have a 8ms responce LCD and I havent had ghosting ever in any game, next time dont buy because the price is right, next time buy quality.

Hehe,
fair enough, but you've paid a lot more money for a monitor with one resolution that still doesn't look as good as a 21" flatscreen CRT.

I paid $200 for my 800:1 C/R, 8ms responce time LCD monitor (which is also is rated to be the best 19" LCD on the market)..... not only that 200 bucks is nothing for me, I make $200 for 8 hours of work.
And trust me, my monitor will blow your 100lb behemoth out of the water, color wise, quality of image and the vividness of the colors .... basically its like comparing a Ferarri (good LCD) vs a Fiant Pinto (CRT).
