This game including Wild Arms - Alter Code: F is the ones i´m looking forward to the most this year, especially the FF12 demo with DQ8 =)

Looks good enough to download, but only because its a Square game. And also the Final Fantasy XII playable demo.

this aint a "square" game it is an "enix" game. Not worthy to be a once great Squaresoft Game. The FFXII demo is a true Square game and hopefully it will be more like FF7 and less like FF10

Squareenix has nothing to do with the making of this game, they are just publishing it.
Level-5, the maker of this game, is one of the best rpg developers in the world. This game will own any squareenix game the last few years. And be on par with many of the old ones.
The new squareenix could learn a thing or two from this awesome studio.
Anyway, I have played the demo for this game and it's totally great. The best part of the game is the MEGA HUGE worldmap, a worldmap you can walk all over (yay for worldmaps).
if you are a console-rpg fan, you will love this game, mark my words. 
About FF feeling childish, well that have always been true for any console-rpg's. If you want some serious booring rpg you can always pick the pc rpg's. 
Although, they are not targeted at childs, far from, a child would problary enjoy a game like gothic (a hardcore pc rpg) much more than a game like dragon quest8 or any other console-rpg, simple because there's no real action going on, so it would be too boring for most kids.
Oh, and ff12 will most likley suck, just like ff has from ff10 and onwards. :/

never liked the dragon quest games, mainly cuz the story always took a backseat to dungeon exploring and cuz the battles were in 1st person, which sucks.
this one seems different so i ll give it a try but wont be expecting too much.

i dunno about that, square hasnt released anything acceptable for years, ff 10 was already flawed but it was still actually good, that was 2001 if i remember correctly, that means in the last 4 years square has only produced dogshit and if ff x-2 was only a taste of things to come then i ll be better off blind.

yeah I agree square enix started to fuck up the series. FF7, FF8, and FF9 had the best stories and were the best/only rpg's i was really interested in. Then it got sour with FF10. FF10-2 was a fucking disgrace to the whole series and should not be called Final Fantasy and should be banned from everywhere. Its so gay. But I thought Square enix was developing FFXII not Squaresoft? Maybe it will be good afterall then.
oh yeah and DragonQuest looks cool too I just hope its not a little kiddy game (Thats the impression I get when I see the grahics). I want to ride that lion/tiger thing!

Square-Enix = Squaresoft... when squaresoft made the first FF movie, they lost all they money and Enix was kind enough to buy part of them or something to make them come back alive more or less!
DQ8 looks like its gonna be a cool game from the screenshots, i really like the battle gfx it has some awsome effects in it from the looks of it... gonna get this one for sure

Fool, SquareEnix both has a Enix division AND a Square division since they were two seperate companies until fall 2002 when they merged together. Of course Enix still exists therefor. Saying that Level 5 MADE the game is almost as stupid as saying EA made Command and Conquer because they owned Westwood. Maybe today they are called "SquareEnix" but during the 80's/90's they went by as "Enix".

22 is the old releasedate, tothegame haven´t updated it. It´s out today, some people already have it. I actually consider buying this game instead of downloading since i love all Enix games, especially the Soul Blazer Trilogy altough DQ8 is nothing like it.
