Anyone else got that problem?

maybe this?

maybe this will help some people:

there was a problem while preloading with rgsc. some people had to delete a .part files so the download continues.i had the same problem, so i was one of them who deleted the file.

everything was working fine while playing until some point in gta online... game was closing with some zlib error message. turns out if you delete this part file, rgsc thinks the files is complete and skips it.
only thing you can do is check the md5 for all x64 .rpf files. one files was corrupt for me, deleted it and restarted rgsc. after redownloading 2,7gb it was done and now everything works!

friend had a freezing error at the beginning of single player... it was the same fault.

found the fix here:
http://www.reddit.com/r/GrandTheftAutoV_PC/comments/328ljj/found_a_fix_for_the_social_club_download_reset/

/edit check soundfiles too or download them again

Thanks man, I'll look it up after work! But I don't see MD5 hashes for the sound files though.

This one works for me:

Says you might have to rename dxdgi.dll to d3d11.dll.

So, is anyone experiencing very small but at least noticeable stutter when driving fast?
It's very slight and somewhat random, but it does happen. It's not a full on lag or framedrop, just like it's slowing down for a microsecond each time. It bothers me.. Other than that, it works pretty damn well @ 1080p with 4xMSAA and most settings on max. I think I've left reflection MSAA off, IIRC, and turned down Population variety a little bit, and not using the softest shadows either.
I've seen it drop to like 50-ish the most, at night in rain, in the city.

From driving... nope. But when I played a deathmatch locked to 1st person... all went to hell (mouse started lagging behind clearly and shooting was impossible).

I played everything maxed out, including advanced options @ 1080.

Yes, I have the microstutters, too. I play on a Haswell Core i5 with a 780 GTX. My Graphics Settings are set so that I can play at locked 60 fps, but I still get microstutters.

Edit: Well actually I play at 59Hz and have 59 fps, because I can't select 60 fps in the Graphics Options. This might cause the micro stutter.

It comes from extented viewdistance setting (advanced settings). Set this to 0% and you will see, that those small stutters are gone.

To anyone who has the 59hz issue: Try to disable vsync ingame and enable it in nvidia control panel or direct 3d overrider and / or lock the framerate to 60 in Riva Tuner Statistics Server. I can only try it out today evening.

Ok, but wouldnt that mean the view/drawdistince will be shit? :/ I mean I'm playing on PC to have a long view/drawdistance. But I'll try it to check if thats the problem anyway, so thanks!

Yes and No Wink
This setting only changes the LOD of the objects not the standard viewdistance.
If you set this setting to 0% then the viewdistance is the same but the little details on the objects (like flowerboxes or air conditioning systems on the roofs) are not shown if they are faw away.

i made two gif yesterday:

IS anyone found a way to increase the shadows LOD? It's pretty abysmal right now, it seems to be a "square" around the player where the shadows are really sharp which are not effected by the shadow softness quality.

It's the same when it's inflicted on cars too

Hm strange, because on MP3 it was quite detailed. I know they removed some of the damage model from MP3 (body disfigurement, some blood decals from bodies, etc.), but it's funny that they messed the blood decals on walls.

Or just create a manual 61Hz resolution in NVCP as i've mentioned so often here already Laughing

As expected, moving the game to SSD and defragging the hd (especially the game files) helps a lot with the stuttering,.
I had a lot of stuttering with my 7200rpm, now its almost unnoticeable on the ssd, even while racing fast.
No need to turn off the radio.
