according to pretty all reports the netcode is absolute shit and even worse than in mk9, regarding both console and pc version.

Full disclosure; I haven't even tried this myself yet, for all I know it runs flawlessly and there are no issues (outside of the "cinematic, kek" 30fps caps on "cinematic, toppest kek" action scenes.

Other than fatalities and the other known offenders capped at 30 fps, the combat maintains 60 fps for me. I've tested matches on multiple stages, played about 4-5 chapters into story mode, and finished 2 towers.

Intel i5 2500k @ 4.5
GTX 680 2 gb
16 gb ram

Is there a particular stage + special moves that are known to be demanding?

Not tried online yet but I have heard it tends to crash frequently but the solo part of the game itself has performed OK'ish though after a few matches framerate becomes a bit erratic (memory leak?) and some of the particle effects can cause stuttering, mostly that just happens during X-Ray and Fatality moves.

The Krypt plays a bit like Legend of Grimrock in terms of movement style, if you use a keyboard you use WSAD to move but to turn you have to use O and U I think it was and then L and K during QTE sequences (You don't die but you do get extra "koin" for completing them.) and there's a small puzzle element where certain chests only appear at specific times and some items are needed to progress past certain rooms.

I think the Krypt is missing out on a hell of a good thing though, right now all you do is walk.. and sometimes press a button to escape a random spider or whatever.. wouldn't it be friggin' amazing if you got into random battles with shadow/clone versions of MK characters? You could earn Koin from fights and it would be epic! Or, better yet (for me at least Razz), make it a REAL dungeon krawler! Get into turn-based RPG style combat in first-person like Might & Magic III ... Mortal Kombat style Very Happy

Goddamn, I haven't played a fighting game with a dual shock controller since 2002 and I'm having a hard time stringing together combos.

It's actually easier for me using the keyboard. Laughing

Gotta practice to learn timing and develop muscle memory.

30fps menus. 30fps X-rays. 30fps Fatalities. 30fps story cutscenes. 30fps Krypt. Living Towers, even the single-player challenges and stages, are locked to online-only.

*sigh*

At least the combat seems to run 60fps with all settings cranked up max, so there's that. I'm not sure how I feel about the game right now though, something feels "off" about the flow of combat and the controls themselves, it doesn't feel as fluid or natural for some reason, though I'm not sure why or what it is.

They have lot of work and knowing how "fast" are they it will take ages.
Like Leo said 2 years probably.

Right now the biggest problem is falling from air timing. Its so broken that i can start air combo and make 10 hits+ and the other player won't be able to block at all.
This will be exploited in online and most of the fights will be useless as if they catch you once you can pretty much wait for round 2.

This game is freaking strange :-/
On one hand i really love it and even the new characters and variations , it even works fine for me, but as of now something seems off. I dont know what that is and why , but there is something really offputing even though i love the rest
