Rain, Baraka and Sindel are "playable" .... sort... of... kinda....

Does anyone know if there's work being done on trying to remove the 30fps cap in some places? I get that prerendered cutscenes are 30, that's a given, but fatalities/x-rays/menus and even the friggin' KRYPT are all 30. Surely there has to be a way to remove that?

I wonder, with fancy software like SmoothVideo Project, shouldn't it be possible to somehow increase the fps to 60?

Maybe if they were videos, but the parts I'm talking about are in-game. In-game menus/character select/pause screen, in-game fatalities and x-rays, in-game Krypt. SVP can't do anything for that even if it did work on the prerendered BIKs in the first place.
Is the Story Mode worth it? my friends are busy so I really don't have much time/someone to play with offline,and Online is to buy it,so I might want isodemo first.

No,consoles are 60FPS, but cutscenes or Fatalities (and other?) runs at 30FPS for the high details that needs to be revealed...Wich's dumb....

Very underwhelming. Finished the story in two sittings, very short. And the roster is just not impressive. Deadly Alliance did a similar thing where it changed a lot of the existing, but did a much better job than this. Graphics and animation smoothness is top notch, but I am not sure if it would pull me back the way the previous ones (including MK9) did. The younger offspring characters are just too similar to their "parents", while no character really stands out. The one with the bow is easy for beginners, but that does not make him interesting. I liked Sub Zero the most. Big surprise there, I always like him the most. Raiden is good too. Of the new characters, I like Kotal Kahn, as a character artistically and as a fighter. But other than that, all the rest are throwaways. As usual, Shinnok is a pussy, no change here. The super Shinnok was given some cheese moves but still is overall a pussy. This also marks another nerfing of Goro. It was already there in MK9, but since he is officially playable here, he is "balanced" now, meaning pussy. Shai Kahn, you are sorely missed, oh thou cheese lord.

As a Soul Calibur fanatic, I absolutely share your frustration as Namco changed character moves so many times, it's frustrating having to re-learn series staple moves that have been given new activation steps.
The worst thing is killing off some characters' Fatalities to more brutal things. I'm gonna miss Kitana's Kiss of Death forever (My fav since MK2 then MKDA).
Reason for not buying the game, in my opinion..yeah i know there's more stuff than that but whenever ya fan of something and it gets killed,no matter if ISODemo, NOPE!!!!!!
