Damn it, I don't know what to think. The trailer was cool, but obviously the gameplay will be another thing (the target is 60fps on console, just imagine the xbone trying to render that stuff with 40 people. It would explode. Or it could do that... at 144p!).
No space battles really is a bummer too, that goes without saying. Like it's been mentioned, they'll most likely be included in the Premium package along with planets designed for that 'mode' as well. Gotta monetizEA everything which it's not a surprise.
The rest sounds good, but without footage it's pointless speculation and question marks. *may the wait for the beta commence*
(No Campaign and offline missions instead is good news imo, I wouldn't stomach another cinematic derporama with handholding, qtes and follow-the-chewie mechanics xD)
noone cares about campaign, but honestly i would take galactic conquest over "scripted missions" any day , but i guess it will have minimum maps with the rest coming as DLCs so Gal. Conquest isnt viable
trailer looked fake as hell to me, it 'might' look like that but sure as hell wont play like that. Was completed scripted methinks
It looked like shit even for a scripted trailer.
If they aren't willing to make a proper SW Battlefield clone for the THIRD time, maybe fucking make a Jedi Knight or X-wing or Republic Commando.
"One more note about loadouts: there are no classes in Battlefront"
Presumably there will be some preset loadout options or a basic array of gear that everyone can choose from, but there will also be some kind of progression system in place.
- Of course there will be a progression system, as they've talked about unlocks and how "the partner system TM" allows two players to share weapon/tools unlocks.
"Players will be able to choose a partner in battle (just one), and will always be able to see that partner on their mini-map, as well as spawn on their location."
- Just materializing behind someone as if you teleported there is a fucking sucky mechanic in Battlefield and it is a sucky mechanic in Battlefront then as well.
Will buy for graphics alone fuck yea. Even if it won't be like the reveal trailer its dice developing so I imagine it'll look even better than bf4. Unlike those incompetent fucks at visceral and their shitty hardline.

i read somewhere that DICE team behind MoH:Doorfigher is developing this

-4 planets.
That explain the lack of Galactic Conquest
i bet more to come as DLC
Well if it looks exactly like that then it truly is nextgen. Could be real cause these dickfaces promised only 40 players max.! That's not good but it might be due to these graphics.
On the other hand there are some effects like we've seen in the Watch Dogs E3 2012 presentation for example and as we all know they changed it....so that's what's gonna happen for sure. Still could be a pretty interesting fuckgame!
I don't thing the game will look like that, cinematic you know
Well the DICE guy said in a tweet that that's how the game actually looks like. I dno if they were caught lying at any point in the past regarding graphics but considering all their games pushed the gfx to the max i'm willing to believe it will look very close to that.
So far all of their games looked as advertised, so I have faith. I don't think they even ever had a trailer that wasn't in-engine.
After the reveal Patrick Bach said the trailer used game assets and that they wanted to show that they can create trailers just by using their engine as it is in the game, without having to "fake" things. He did say it had a certain cinematic touch that wouldn't work in a game though, but I assume it was more about set-piece moments, character interactions, etc and not about technological limitations.
