Yeah, turns out there's a lot of issues like this. I think I'll shelve the game for a while... wait until official patches fix the issues since they seem to be happening to legit gamers as well as pirates. Shame as I was having a blast, playing this with GlorioVisuals and near-solid 60fps? In first person mode? Delightful, simply delightful.

I am having a strange problem...maybe...I am at about 15% and so far i didnt see any rain in the game...? Is it happened much rare then gta4 of something is wrong on my game? 3dm+2nd patch .Constalntly sunny and clear weather, no rain, no fog, nothing...

So finaly got to sit down today and play this game on PC 
Holy fuckballs what a great port, played all fucking day with no crashes, 970 card holds its own and does not even struggle.
The weather and puddles
The tinking of the engine when I get out when its got really hot
The visuals are just spot on with no glitches or errors anywhere so far that I can see
First person driving
Damn this is going to last a while its been great with a couple of buddies, performance is fantastic.

I'm playing the story right now, and was doing the assassination missions with lester and franklin, i only did 2 but read online that there's 5, so i played a campaign mission but after that the Missions disappeared and haven't comeback yet, even after playing some other missions and advancing the ingame clock.
Any idea where have they gone?

Man, the MP in this game is awesome.
If anyone played All Points Bulletin (MMO from a year or two ago) it is like that on steroids.

Hmm I don't usually bother with MP stuff, on account I am antisocial, but I might have to give this a go at some point... I usually get fed up with twats online and give up, but maybe this time it'll be different....

I hate to say it, but it won't be hehe. It's part of the "charm", but does get old real fast.
I had my first heist mission a bit earlier today and barely got anywhere. I got killed. I wasn't familiar with ANYTHING about the mission and had no idea what to expect. Was called a noob and the match was over heh. Ah well.
Maybe I can try hanging with the NFO crew for some guidance

I spent some time tinkering with settings and fps today. One of the guides I read said the PostFX setting can affect framerates a bunch.
It said lowering it will disable depth of field, motion blur, and bloom effects.
I dont know if it affects any other settings, but I dont care for the DOF or blur, so I lowered it to "High"
Having PostFX set to "high" has gained me 5 to 15 fps depending on the area, with the only visual difference being slightly less bloom.
I can play with 50-60fps everywhere now. Everything else is set to the highest setting except grass, that is set to high. And not using MSAA. This is on a 3GB GTX 760, 2560x1440.
So, the big framekillers for me are Grass and PostFX (and MSAA, but it's not really needed with FXAA and 1440p)

Yeah but your system is the shit. Some crashes occur in missions when changing to a character that's further, such as when Michael goes to meet Devin and give him the shares. If you park the getaway car near Devin's mansion, when the game switches to Michael, no crash occurs. So something is happening when the game changes characters. Either it's something related to performance, or the BEX64 error which occurs each time the game crashes is related to some hidden or not yet mentioned copy protection, although there are some people with legit versions that encounter this.

There are two scripted character swaps during missions that cause repeatable crashes for a lot of people (including me), but I have also had it crash during manual character swaps.
I tried this - https://support.rockstargames.com/hc/communities/public/questions/203597907-Crash-upon-zooming-in-Mission-Blitz-Play-and-Caida-Libre- which suggests replacing those two files someone suggested deleting earlier, but I still get a crash on the final scripted character swap of Blitz Play. Interestingly though, as far as I can tell swapping those doesn't affect your settings other than the "ignore recommended limits" or whatever it is (I had it off originally, was on after replacing those files), so I'm not sure exactly what it is those files do.

fuck. I keep getting a BEX64 error on the first armored car heist.
need a fix.
after I blow up the trash truck, it zooms out to michael, and them bam, bex64 error.
always this spot. can't get past it.

Happens when you change as well. Always happens after using a throwable during a mission. This can be bypassed by destroying stuff with rocket launchers or for example in Blitz Play by throwing the sticky out of the window of a car and then climbing down to detonate it.

Park the getaway car near Devin Weston's mansion When the game switches to Michael, there is no overhead animation.. In Caida Libre destroy the van with the gun in the back by driving it into the water.
You could also try in Blitz Play to suicide three times while driving towards the getaway car after which the option to skip the mission appears.
Or use throwables with quick throw instead of aiming, this seems to cause the issue.

Ahhh, then I can't know for sure yet if that's gonna happen to me as well, as I haven't had the chance to switch character during a mission. I've changed characters lots of times during free roaming without a single crash/freeze etc. but I guess it only happens while on a mission.
