"Bloodchill"
It is a passionate movie about the love of 2 women and a zombie comes along and ruin everything.
You can view it here or download it here http://movies.lionhead.com/movie/4037 |
Are you using an originaly copy of the game ? | Yes I'am |
Okay, thanks. So, we, pirates, are doomed not to get any of the extra content. Congrats to Lionhead, well done!

Anyone know how to attract more lot maintenance people or stars or ANYTHING? I don't have enough janitors or crew to shoot more than two movies at a time :S

I know this, but I've got it at 5 stars, and I'm not having anyone show up. Figured there might have been a trick to it.

Something tells me Lionhead messed up on the rate of new staff. Expect it to be speed up or re-worked in a patch. They might also add a 'Movie-Maker' option, since there is alot of desire for that. I don;t know this for certain, but its seems likely.

There is a fix out for the lack of crew, cast (etc) I've uploaded it for consumption here but you are best to check the lionhead forums for any possible updates or bugs (etc). I've tried it and it works, plus if you do some further editing you can change you're starting money very easily.

The mod isn't there (File Not Found). Is there a chance you can upload it again?
edit: my mistake it is there - works great.

It is there and working as I just tried it. Scroll down and click the FREE button and then scroll down, wait if you have to and click the file to download.
here is an alternative download link. This mod really helps with the game. It's a little excessive though I have to admit

Nice, thank you Ispep. I'm already rocking this game pretty hard without it, but the more people that show up, the more assistants I can make for my whiney stars. I can currently shoot 3 movies and have them at at least 3 stars no problem. I have like 22 million in the bank or something. No hax

great mod! too bad I couldn't figure out how to work it with current savegames. Started a new game and WOOP! Lookit those lines! lol
So I finally sit down for some nitty gritty, have about 7 scenes laid out, go to change a costume for scene 8 and -blip- back to desktop. sigh, I give up. Especially since it took 8 scenes all on the same set just to create a functional environment.
How movie making could be better: Pick a set. Pick the actors needed for the set. Place tha ctors like props, and have controls to put them in various stats, like sitting, standing neutral, etc. Setup a waypoint system. WP1=Captains sitting in chair, time 25second, neutral animation. WP2=Captain stands quickly, barks an order animation, begins walk anim to WP3. All the animations are already in the game. Why force pre-rendered scenes when you should have controls and animate actors like props. Place your actor, pick the animation you would like from a list, drag and drop animation on actor. Draw a line from WP1->2, drag and drop next animation from the lsit...how could this not be possible?
On a lighter note, I noticed the DS2 toolkit is out. Gonna go make some maps.
i can has computar?!

Is it because everything is predefined and you have very little freedom?
Yeah that does bring the awesomeness of this game down a notch.
But it still is great. You can make some nifty B movies
I like it a lot.
1) for entertainment value
2) for enjoyment value
I haven't played the game game yet. Just fiddled around in the sandbox
S,o maybe the actual game it self is bad But ,the sandbox mode is fucking awesome! Just need to practice in it a bit more. I love this game

To get it to work with a saved game you need to tear down the buildings for employing, like the stage school, crew offices and so on and then rebuild them, voila now you get a really nice line of people outside.

I need the manual.
How do you cast a director for a movie? I've built an advanced movie making building and went through the process of casting the actors, choosing scenes etc. How do I edit the pieces together and make the final version as WMV?

TY ollax. Too bad I spent 4 hrs last night getting a new studio rocking. I made a two star movie with a basic script facility. Jesus damn. I just wish there was a way to organize all my stars. I have 1-20 stars all with rickety trailers and 2 assistants, hehe.
