Visually it looks good (even very good at some points), in some parts you can see similarities to JC. It won't be a GOTY, but it seems like a good play for sure.

I changed my mind, the game looks PHENOMENAL. Can't wait now.

That was pretty cool.. against all odds.  The visual style and how they're portraying the apocalyptic world is excellent (or it could be very well made editing, we'll see  ).
My only concern is that the 'gameplay' bits have tonnes of slow-mo's and scripts, perhaps too "cinematic" for my tastes (akin to Shadow of Mordor's, which wouldn't be exactly a good inspiration). So far so good, but I'll have to wait for some proper footage in order to be fully convinced.

You missed out enormously with the two JC titles (though JC1 was a friggin' Xbox port, not even 360.. fuckyouverymuch for THAT, Avalanche) and Renegade Ops is beyond deliciously awesome. I don't really have an opinion on the Hunter titles.

Quite liked the JC ones, played them as much as the saints row's and GTA's 
First one is a bit dated so try the second one instead.
