Aww Yeah

that's what i'd be doing if i had millions of fangirls like us saying, "if its not on steam, I don't want it" Razz

Luckily, I swallowed the red pill last year when I got trade banned, support ignored/banned, and since then it's all been downhill with Valve at an ever increasing rate.

U just wait..In 5-10 years or so every AAA game will be released probably the same way diablo 3 got released Very Happy and it will have crapbook, craptter and the likes integration, built-in ads (you'll have to pay money to disable them), in-game shop etc

well with my backlog i would be fine till retirement Wink
but yeah that sounds horible and we are already close to that with all thoe HW-locked and heavily online based DRMs likey Denuvo's AT, Valve's cpuCEG or R*'s gay club

Well it's a very small percentage that bitch and moan, majority won't even notice, bend over and keep spending letting these companies get away with this shit.

Just wait til its $15 a month to keep using Steam with your existing game library.. got to pay Valve to keep working on amazing Steam features, cards and emoticons etc.

Store also barely responds. Some heavy DDOSing going around. At least no one can buy workshop junk anymore, let's keep the DDOS going.

http://www.valvesoftware.com/ is also down Cool Face

1. DRM for Mods
2. In-game/in-engine implementation of DRM for mods
3. Custom script extensions that work as a DRM for mods

You heard it here first. mark my words, in next 1-2 years it will come.

I doubt that as it would require a complete rewrite from workshop. To keep it compatible with older games this won't work.

Impressive, but the "Last edited by danjako43:......" bit that is conveniently covered up by a blown up quote. For all we know, he had some random theory about something random, then went back two days ago with the new information and filled it all in to make it look like he guessed this 3 years ago Razz

Whatever?
Greedy Bethesda already got their load of cash, 5% of which they paid to few students to auto-generate another incomplete "TES game" for the community to finish.

i've read all the discussion on reddit and such, and i took a really simple decision.
1 ' for lulz i will open a ticket to ask for a full refund for all the games in steam library .
2' from now i will get back to pirating.

my gaming life was :
1' pirating and play everything.
2' pirate simple games with no reply value, purchase old games to pay my respect for stuff i played countless times.
3' purchased and play games which i could afford. i pirated / downloaded games very rarely. hell, i dint download gta until now. which i wanted to buy at some time in the future.

now will get back to full piracy. of course, not like 15+ years ago, but for the stuff i want to play/try, with no intention to buy them anytime later, no matter what -% they get.
i started to download gta v.
good ridance valve.
