stay away from checkpoint charlie , huge tourist trap. top 3 things history wise to check are http://www.museum-karlshorst.de/ ( best WW2 museum in berlin , free entrance way too few people find their way to it ) http://berliner-unterwelten.de/tour-1.13.1.html ( this specific tour ) http://www.stiftung-hsh.de/ Stasi prison Hohenschönhausen

Well, it's a really hard problem to solve. I have a researcher friend specialized to the field (sociologist). Two things are clear though: throwing more money at it (the easy way out for politicians) is making zero progress, and the way forward is strictly through education - and this then becomes a multigeneration problem. But there are no other solutions.

You noticed something? There are no cops. If that was in 'merica, what would happen for selling alcohol and intoxicating in public? He would be already surrounded with SWAT, tased, thrown on the ground, kicked, cuffed and eventually got shot in the back ! Made in China is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get.
