Well it's nothing special it's stated in the EULA, pretty much every game writes that. That being said if there's more expanded mods and the Cracks get better I'll be off using that when I don't care about Online as much anymore.

@swebarb You can only replay them after you did all.
@Janz Nobody has been banned for SP mods, those on Reddit that said it also modded Online with CE and all that shit. They're liars. (How come I didn't? I removed the files before going Online with the new update) -> ModManager does this for you as well, no bans.

Right, all this SP Mod Banning stuff is completly Bullshit and Rockstar will never ban for that. If they do im pretty sure the hell would break loose under them.
Hell i even played Online with those Mods installed and Scripthook and im still playin fine online. Those Bans that happend are from users who used CE and exploited the Game with Money and RP or are the guys who used Scripts to boost themselfs without playing the game.
Everytime i see a new thread on Reddit or GTAF about those bans in sp for mods im about the taste puke in my mouth. Some ppl are just a big fail.
P.S: Im in Skypeconversation with 25 Modders of GTA V (including the Scripthook Creator Alex B) and none of them reported a ban for using this stuff.

I think the 2 week ban for mods is to scare of the majority of casual cheaters that tried to use it online. Only the addict cheaters will keep using mods online now.

uh oh.... sooo stupid....
and the rage beginns...
Quote: | According to the new terms of service, unless there is a change in Rockstar’s EULA, the Grand theft Auto V modding scene, one of the biggest sell-points for the PC version, is not allowed to take off, effectively forcing players to choose between modding their game or the ability to play online.
The Internet has taken to Steam, where Grand Theft Auto V’s review count has hit 6,529 negative reviews with no sign of slowing down.
User G0LKS left the following review:
Good game but can’t recommend due to Rockstar’s shady practices…Banning people, who paid 60 freakin dollars, because they use mods to enhance their SP experience is abhorrent and violates the basic principles of PC gaming. It’s made even more ridiculous by the fact that most of these mods are harmless graphical fixes (such as the FOV mod) which serve to improve the already awesome game that rockstar has developed.
I hope the developers change their stance about this and do it soon.
Some users indicate that changing your Rockstar account username will “unbind” the activation code from the account since they are bound to the username and non-transferable, resulting in users getting the message “Rockstar activation code already in use.” when trying to launch the game.
Given Steam’s mod controversy, and Gabe Newell’s statement about the costs of angering the Internet (“yes, I mean pissing off the Internet costs you a million bucks in just a couple of days“), we can only hope Rockstar see its potential mistake, and fixes it before it is too late. |

Originally I had thought GTA V was one game and GTA Online another but the way it's integrated makes it pretty difficult to separate mods to only affect the SP game and even if the script hook author has tried to make it a bit more difficult there's probably already modified builds available that do work online again.
I can understand Rockstar banning (Two weeks was it?) for using mods in public online games but if they do ban for also using it in SP or in private matches that's a bit much.
(But with how people in SP also exploit the leaderboards and such I'm not surprised Rockstar has taken a very strict stance against mods.)
Not really sure what they can do, not really sure the bans will truly help stop people cheating in the online mode either but hopefully it does stop some of it.
(Modding is fine and it would be nice if it had better support officially but unfortunately people will try to exploit it.)

ReShade is OK, tools like Widescreen Fixes with it's GTA V plugin to modify FOV is a bit of a gray area currently.
(People say they've been banned and then there's others saying it's safe and I don't think Rockstar has clarified it either though modifying FOV could give a gameplay advantage so it's probably a bit risky to use online.)

FOV modifying doesn't give any advantage outside of the very rare 'FP only modes' anyone saying that is using it as an excuse, the real reason is still the modification of game files, regardless of functionality.

Dayum, the first car on the epsilon list is ultra rare.
found all the others without guides, but the first one is a tough one. Gonna have to revisit that later or hope I randomly see it during gameplay, as I don't wanna cheat with guides.

Ugh, how does one land a helicopter in 10 seconds or less? I can't get a gold medal for one of the challenges (helicopter speed run) in Flight School because the damn helicopter is all over the place during landing.

It is amazing what they've figured out already, I really hope Rockstar realise that mods are what'll keep this game thriving for years to come much more so than the online element.
It is a brilliant game and some of the mods simply add details that quite frankly are perfect fits for their own work. Things such as the vehicle control, as dumb as it seems, completely fit with their work. Rockstar actually made the headlight and beam indicators work too. Then again, just having working dials already makes the cockpit view better than certain "racing" games that don't even have one, blur it or have non-functional dials

Which one was the first one? The Lambo? That's in Vinewood, down the hill and to the left from Franklin's house. I knew where to find that straight away because I came across it while roaming as Franklin and "borrowed" it lots of times
The Tornado took me a lot longer to track down.
