Remote Desktop for one (non-Pro only has the client, not server).
Hyper-V (virtualisation) is another. Booting from a VHD is also restricted to Pro and up.
And then there's BitLocker/EFS, some network stuff (only Pro can join a Windows Domain), Group Policies.
Most of this even most power users don't care about, but RDP + Hyper-V is relevant to many of us

this is from 8.1 home vs pro, right ?
i could not find a 10 pro vs home feature list.
i presume is the same like in 8/7, but i expected an official list, not hey, the pro ver is for power users. we dont have a standard definition of what a power user is. especially if is next to mobile workers. makes no sense.

Now *that* is the move, almost like the final step, that makes us say, Microsoft did it, they saved PC gaming!

It's not about that. Just when I thought finnally they understood to reduce bloatware crap from Windows and here we go again.
eg. If you sysprep Windows 8/8.1 with all useless Metro apps uninstalled, guess what happens when Windows starts after the sysprep? The only way how to permanently get rid of them is to tweak registery.

People are losing their minds over this CCS being preinstalled drama. I see it as being no different than any of the other games that were preinstalled on the OS. Removing them was an effortless part of a clean install ritual.

For me it makes no difference, uninstallying packages like games and others is the first I do on a new install anyway. They could even put something derpy as CoD,LoL or whatever... the action will be the same... well maybe I'll roll my eyes more with those and CCS xD

I don't care about CCS as long as they don't remind me everyday about it whenever i turn on my PC or after a few hours of use.

I have a tiny dumb question:
If an RTM gets leaked (with the language you want it) and install it, can you receive then Updates from Windows Update still to fix probs and update to the final version of W10 without reinstalling the OS again?..

Right.
I never wanted Solitaire, nor Mine Sweeper, but I still got them upon install
Folk just like to pick and moan, regardless lol. Hell, I don't want no CCS, but I'll uninstall, or if I cant, disable it, no big deal. |
Same way people "lost their minds" over the U2 album being pushed onto their iTunes accounts; sometimes, people just don't want stuff pushed on them against their will. Personally I'll just remove mine because I don't want it on my computer .. so as long as it can be removed effortlessly without any issue whatsoever, that's me good =)

M$ "Desists" and brings back the Classic Start Menu to it's roots. No Live / Customizable Tiles (Though if there was an option to put 'em it'd be great for me,somehow,to make the system look... Better?..Dunno about your opinion, was looking for a "Fresh Look")
However, the Start Menu's style's still kinda "Lame" but hey, you want DX12 and "improvements" ?. Here it is for ya then.
Screenshot shows the new look
http://www.adslzone.net/2015/05/17/microsoft-desiste-windows-10-volvera-al-menu-de-inicio-clasico/
THIS TIME the Source at the bottom of the article is a Russian? Twitter account showing just 2 shots of the new look with the mere difference of "Recently Used"
Aka NO ENGLISH ARTICLE. There might be other sources but this is the 1st i've came across on a newsfeed of mine.
