Let's hope Wild G3ralt manages to evoke some of ye ol' Witchery feelings, without any dumbing downs from Consolgaard (aside from the visuals, that is).
I haven't even had the time to watch/read anything PC-related in the last days. I've reached the point where I'm just waiting for the release day like a kid waiting for christmas and its alternative version of santa.

I just read that someone from that German PC site tried messing with the graphics config files and it didn't make any difference. So the settings might be locked to whatever we can choose in the menu.

I'll admit, I haven't been keeping up very much with all the witcher 3 details, beyond cdpr cockslapping pc gamers, but has there been anything revealed yet on ITEMS from witcher 2 carrying across to witcher 3? a handful of choices, yes, but what about items and money?

Might be, but even if it's possible I think it's the same as with items from Witcher 1: they're very low level and you have to replace them early on. From what I saw your starting equipment is about the level of Witcher 2 endgame gear.

don't really care about how toned down their damage is (just like w2, it makes sense not to start with OP weapons), i just want to bring aerondight with me.
oh god how awesome would it have been if cdpr let us roleplay like a baws and return that sword to the lady... my mind would fucking explode if they'd thought about that.
