The M&KB controls are awful, not just the bindings.. in general... feels like I'm fighting the camera too.
SSAO doesn't even seem to work for me..
Audio is garbage with 7.1... very low volume... reminds me of a similar problem with Witcher2.
Game runs about 45-60 fps. Mostly around the middle 50's. (Everything maxed except Hairshit is disabled, 2500K@stock and GTX970, still on the GTA5 Nvidia drivers)
Videos are playing in 20fps for some reason.

ok IN the training yard, heres my settings...
@ 1080p
hairworks ON
everything on ultra, EXCEPT water quality, grass density, and foilage visibility range (which i notice i lose about 8-10 fps alone just on this setting... these last 3 settings are all on high
getting stable 60 fps in the training yard
im running a 2500k (minimum cpu, right cdpr? ) and a 970
will need to wait until i get out into the game to see how the game REALLY performs...

Will probably play a marathon 1 through 2 to 3 to get the whole story.
Lost my save from 1, unfortunately, never finished 2.

Knob80 is somewhat quiet, no doubt masturbating to the absolute quality of the gameplay.

Nice another game that is deliberately made to run good only with 2GB+ VRAM in order to sell new cards while it doesnt use properly even 1 GB.
Greedy cunts.
Oh well i'm gonna have to settle with medium to get 50fps

GOG (Galaxy Version here) with latest gameready drivers. Game is perfectly fluid with all post processing active and all effects on high (textures ultra, hbao+ active, no hairworks <- that one FUCKS up EVERYTHING!) => Game runs perfectly fine
Controls are wonky, even with controller. The anti aliasing doesn't seem to work as good as fxaa.
No crashes so far but the ingame scene after the fighting tutorial is very very very stuttery and I can hear that my gfx cards fans slow down, so somehow they are not fully utilized just right there. Very strange.

Is there no way to scale the big ass minimap?
I also can't seem to disable the time of day thing next to the minimap.

Surprisingly enabling hairworks has quite a small performance hit , just a few fps. Well, at least at the training yard;)
1) Lenovo Legion 7 (AMD Ryzen 7 5800H, RTX 3080 16Gb, 32Gb DDR4, SSD 1TB +2TB
2) SFFPC (streaming via Moonlight+ Sunshine)

Just played a bit, am currently wandering around with the amazing horse.
The game seems to be running well (~60fps) with a combo of High settings and Ultra at 1080p (full-Ultra are too much for a 970), at least that went better than expected. That's only if I disable the L'Oreal Effects sponsored by Green Goblins Corporation though. With those enabled, it's a complete disgrace, with framerate drops all over the place. I ain't even mad
Mouse controls seem to be rough, and severe rebinding is needed, though at least the game is playable (sort of), that's way beyond my initial expectations.
As for the graphics, I'd say they're inconsistent, since while models and textures look good (including the facial animations, much much better that Witcher 2's), the vegetation and shaders in general look off at times, as we already know very well (Vurt will really have to use some of his wizardry here).
edit:
Despite some struggling with the camera, I'm liking the combat system, it feels quite rewarding so far on the hardest difficulty

Yeah, the difficulty on the highest setting was really hardcore. Tried to kill the ghouls 5 times, but I'd really need to concentrate.. But this ain't no Dark Souls, so I just reduced it to the second highest level and killed all ghouls without even losing health

I'm playing with everything on ultra and highest settings, except for Nvidia Pubeworks cos that just rips the framerate to bits.
Graphically it's pretty Meh to be honest, it's good without being stunning. The game, however, looks to be pretty damn good, which is probably the most important thing - combat doesn't feel as bad as many naysayers would have you believe IMO.

Game is really great when you get 50+ fps. Fighting is good and challenging at least in the beginning in hardest difficulty. This is exactly what i wanted.
I'm gonna swallow my pride and play on Medium as gameplay is really good when fps doesn't drop.
