You can try to edit that file, it seems to be all there.
About the lock, maybe you have to edit the following file
"C:\GOG Games\The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\bin\config\base\hidden.ini"
This file has
"LockControlScheme=0"

why would anyone lock a control scheme. thats just evil.
anyway, i think the combat has potential. again, only been in 3 or 4 fights so far, but now that ive moved my dodge key to one of my mouse's thumb buttons, the dodge move is more pratical and could make for some interesting combat for sure. its definitely much more interesting and requires more effort than witcher 2's combat thats for sure.

The stutters that happen in this game as so freaking weird. I get steady 60 fps for the most part but once every 5 seconds or so it stutters pretty significantly. Up to the point where it feels like it's skipping frames (so probably it goes below the cinematic 24fps).

also, say what you want about the visuals of the world itself, every time i see a cutscene with geralt, or spin my camera around and get a good look at the dude, im honestly struck by how good he (and other main characters) look in this game. their clothing/armor textures look good, as do the faces, and so far the mannerisms/animation has been pretty solid.

I wanted to stay away from the latest drivers since people reported issues with them but I'm gonna give it a go and see what happens.
Yeah, the character models have definitely gotten a lot of love and it shows. Too bad the world stuff did not.

hows the game with hairworks btw inter? i assume you can handle it easily  im actually pretty happy that i can crank everything up to ultra (except hairworks and foliage distance) and get a solid constant 60 fps... im kinda sad i cant get me some of that fancy nivida junk, but i just dont want to play the game at 45 fps just so that i can see geralts mane in full glory

So there's something pretty weird on my end.
OK so basically for me I either have to turn down the foliage and the hairworks to achieve perfect 60 fps or I have to limit the game at 30fps O_O
To explain. The moment the game drops below 60fps it simply skips frames. I've no idea what the hell is happening and I don't know if dxtory is giving me correct frame count but the moment I lose frames it usually falls somewhere between 52-55fps and then comes back to 60fps.
It's simply weird.

Ok, further testing.
I decided to crank up everything to ultra + the infamous hairworks and I limited the game to 50fps using dxtory.
The game works perfectly smooth. The game stays at 50fps at all times and there's no frame drops.
So I'm probably going to stick with 50fps.
But if I can achieve a constant 50fps that means that my game never falls under 50fps. That simply doesn't explain why I have frame loss when I try to play at 60fps.

Just like GTAV... almost everyone for the first 2-3 weeks is fapping to the game until they are done with it

That's good. I'll play with the HUD off later on as well. But weird bugs have become a common thing with a majority of new games nowadays as they become more and more complex.
I'm going to wait a few months then. Thanks for confirming. 
1 and 2 are still amazing.
