2) Drowners can come back to life so he keeps hitting it to make sure it stays dead, it's what any sane person would do

"C:\GOG Games\The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\bin\config\r4game\legacy\base\input_qwerty.ini"

You can try to edit that file, it seems to be all there.

About the lock, maybe you have to edit the following file

"C:\GOG Games\The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\bin\config\base\hidden.ini"

This file has
"LockControlScheme=0"

sadly this doesnt work, cant rebind any of those locked controls

I havent installed the newest nvidia drivers so Im only using one of my cards(GTX 780 @ 1400mhz), but everything maxed (no hairworks, 1080p @ TV, SSAO) 42-60fps

Guess I'll have to install the latest drivers tonight when the kids are sleeping and everything is nice and calm @ home Very Happy

Jeez! This game runs great on my shitty old comp. Only nice thing i have is an OC MSI 760 card, and even that is ageging. well, card runs hot but the game looks and runs great even on medium settings. Turns out that the latest Nvidia driver turned the game playable from unplayable.

Have been riding around the wilderness around the inn and the game runs really great. did not expect this Smile

Ps. If you got a yarr version, then you might wanna remove GOG Galaxy. Seems like Galaxy adds the game to your library, which can't be good for your legit GOG account.

4GB version? Coz here on medium with 2gb 760 i can't reach 60 even on 1680x1050.
Get 50 most of the time, but in small towns i get drops to 40.
The only thing you need is strong GPU as game barely uses other resources.

No. 2 GB version, but I did set the frame limiter to 30. and it sits at 30 constantly. Very playable but I knew i would not be able to reach 60 anyways.

Yep i found out that too. No way you get stable fps with 2gb vram on any settings.

I actually was wagering that post-launch, most of the downgrade hysteria crowd would screw the quests and run around surveying the area in search for shitty graphics. Well shieeeeet, it is all about the gameplay.... Whistle me elmo

I'm running the game on a piss poor dual core Pentium 3240 3.1 GHZ, 4gigs of ram and a R7 265 OC and it runs and looks great. I'm getting around 35fps. 1080p, settings mostly a combination of Medium, Low, High in a few places with some crappy post processing off (chromatic aberration , motion blur).

What I love is the ambient lighting effects and the sheer density of the foliage. Also I have a feeling that Geralts normal stride is a bit too fast paced. I found myslelf overshooting some corpses and herbs.

Nope even with controller walking is kinda strange and i can't get used to it.
Half pressed stick is too slow fully pressed stick is kinda too fast and running is even faster.
Can't seem to get normal pace when i have to climb ladders. Always too fast or too slow.
