Regarding the worldstate stuff

Yes - you get questions at some point in the game (past the griffin)
No - it wont ask questions and decide things on its own
Import - it uses the decisions stored in your witcher 2 save

Isn't it a horse armor?
http://store.steampowered.com/app/370000/

Then again maybe it's for both Geralt and Roach (His horse.) haven't gotten that far into the game yet so I have no idea how the DLC work, I'd assume barbers will have shops in towns and such but I have no idea how the armor works nor the alternate character skins.

Finally got around to start this.

I was getting a crushed 30 fps at ultra, toned the distance sliders to high and i get 45-60 constant.

Didnt play long, only in Kaer Moren.

The game looks nice, but the camera can be shit. Very Happy

I finally understand why his horse is named Roach. Since Geralt can be a cock sometimes people can easily say: "hey it's cockroach" referring to both Geralt and Roach!

1 and 2 are still amazing.

So how is everyone liking the game so far, has it lived up to everyones expectations?

Also, for those that pre-ordered the ultimate edition with dlc and all that, are there any special steps to redeem the content, or is it unlocked automatically with steam?

I'm amazed how well this one runs. 1080p, everything on High, shadows Medium (hairworks ofc off), Post processing everything on except Motion Blur (hate it). 50+fps. Barely drops under 55 most of the time. It seems that the cpu is not stressed, neither the gpu. Temps are very low also at heavy load.
I'm currently doing some secondary quests in the first village. Combat is improved I think. It feels heavier. Still I like more the combat mechanics from the first game.
Graphics are better than I expected but too colorful for my liking and for the game's theme and atmosphere.

Any difference in performance with or without the specific nVidia "Witcher 3" driver?

Still not played the game, had some work to do.

So it looks and feels very good. But to be honest Dragon Age spoiled the fun a bit for me. It doesn't look that much better and it doesn't feel better. And some people walk around and well....do sth. useless yes! But is it really better and more alive than DAI in that regard? Not sure....

And there are soo many UK assholes with their english accent goddamn Sad

No idea about where in village, but I found a herbalist (male) here:

 Spoiler:

Can anybody explain what these mean?

Thanks.

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

The orange is the current toxicity level. If you take too many potions, you will eventually die from poisoning. Yellow is your stamina. The more stamina, the more signs you can cast, one after another.

Got my second 970 this morning and now the slight stuttering has gone. Get mostly 60fps with everything maxed, except hairworks and AA off. I guess I would need a third card for hairworks . Still get the occasional drops to 45fps but it's more like every 10 minutes instead of every 1 or 2.

This game is so fucking unoptimised it is unreal.

I have the shittiest cpu ever with a dual core e8500 at 3.1ghz and I have borrowed a friends 970 nvidia graphics card and it runs at ultra with no slowdowns so its 100% gpu orientated.

Hairworks on.
