plaza rel is based on the steam files, thats the reason why. dont know why they havent checked that the exe doesnt trigger any steam apis

This game is so fucking good, hhhnnggghhh.
The overall narrative isn't as tense as it was in TW1 or TW2, but the side quests in this are exquisite.

Options, Video, Graphics, Set FPS, Unlimited-30-60. Choose Unlimited.

They also explain why the visuals took enormous hits and claimed that no PC could run it, despite the fact that... yes.. indeed.. SOME PC did run it. Instead we get a massive, marked, downgrade that even NOW requires 980s to run properly

There's a surprise(!) As much as I'm enjoying the game, the company has lost so much of my respect that I genuinely don't think I'll support them again. Too much duplicity, too many lies, too many "partners" and you know for a fact that their next games will be even worse - TW2 was already consolised, TW3 is *purely* consolised, I'll be surprised if Cyberpunk even launches on PC at all at this rate.

im just saying game gets even more easier as it already is when you can pick up everything and sell it (though im not that deep into it atm, but money is rare atm. dont know how its later, if you always have tons of money after some time it doenst matter ofc)

My god Novigrad is impressive. Best fantasy city in any game. Blows anything TES has out of the water. Also the main quests, so good. The subtle consequences here and there are really cool. Everything feels connected in an organic way. Instead of just putting the main bad guy behind everything to form some sort of connection, people and incidents intertwine. This is why I can't stop playing where else I could never finish DAI despite all the save game importing.

try just deleting the bin/ddi/steam.dll and the bin/x64/steam_api64.dll. don't need them anyway. I've read that fixes some crashes for some people. You don't need any crack or anything. You can do the same on the GOG version of the game but it's a different file. galaxy.dll? something like that. The exe is the same for both versions |
So I deleted those files and tried running fullscreen instead of borderless and te game still froze. This time in inventory

I barely make it above 30.. so I locked the damn thing and play on ultra setting with stable 30 and controller...
If setting to unlimited, fixes the freezing then I could force 30 with external measures... sure

I was literally about to purchase this game, because I quite like it.
Now CDPR can suck my left testis, as I'm pretty sure they couldn't give a fuck about PC gaming now they've seen how much profit comes from the dirty console cunts.
PC gaming is fucked, I'm telling you. The PS5 and the XboxTWO will both be powered by red and green, and both AMD and Nvidia will start to reduce the number of cards being produced for PC, instead concentrating on a modular system for the next console - allowing an 'upgrade' every 6 months or so.
All major game publishers will abandon PC's in favour of easy-to-develop-for consoles, as DLC reigns supreme, and the target audience are as intelligent as plankton.
