I'm level 4 and I feel like I must have missed stuff.

I was around level 4 as well and I'm pretty sure I did everything in the area.
I'm playing on Death March which supposedly gives you less XP.

You can't miss stuff in white orchard since everything is on your map in that area.

I was level 3 also. I assume it's because I didn't go out hunting for enemies. I only killed when I had to, so I guess I missed XP.

It was a nice surprise to see a whole long side quest resulting from a save game import. Better than some random dialogue references to your past deeds.

Finally beated the Witcher 2 in around 35 H in Hard. Boss act 1 was the more difficult.

I have to admit i had to force me on to finish it. i was bored at the end of Act 1. I would gave it a 6/10, no more.

In White Orchard they do. I read it somewhere, but I don't remember where. Makes sense since it's the tutorial area.

So, should I start with 1.03 or it is still annoyingly buggy and I'd better wait for few more patches?

I'm in no hurry :P

You can still find hidden treasure outside of the POIs, I think only stuff that awards XP in some way gets marked on the map.

Anyone met Dijkstra yet? Of all the new (and old) characters, he's the one I'm looking most forward to. Awesome character in the books.

There must have been a door there in the wall, when I came in.

Puppet is awesome Very Happy but I'm somewhat worried.. if "puppeted" mob kills another mob do I get XP or not ?

Anyway, attacking puppeted mobs doesn't break the spell lol so it's an easy kill.

Do they flesh out the Geralt/Ciri relationship with more flashbacks? I really liked child Ciri. No spoilers please.

Game seems to default o windowed fullscreen after every restart now.

I also lost 10 FPS compared to yesterday but my GPU doesn't run as hot anymore, like it's not running at full power? Very strange.

I'm so loving the game.
I'm playing on i5 2400 and 6870 (1GB!) with low/medium setings, AA, SSAO, 720 and get around 30 fps (now that I got to Velen it dropped to around 25, but it doesn't feel that bad for me, runs much better than Unity). And I feared it won't even run. Minimum my ass.

Oh by the way. Swords and other gear says they got required leved. But developers said the gear will scale, so they cheanged that or I misunderstood what they meant?

What's your version? No problems here with the GOG version. I was hesitant at first to apply the 1.03 patch because I had excellent performance. With the patch movement is smoother and I like the sharpening at low. Performance is still phenomenal here and I'm even thinking trying some options on Ultra.
