Great game, but really miss sneaking and pickpocketing, few quest from thief 3 wouldn't hurt, and controls really can irritate later in game.

You just need to attack it relentlessly + 'stun' it with igni, when you give it room to move it just fucks you up.

It depends also a lot on what level you encounter it. I got there really early and he had more regen then i could damage him so i had to grind further before i could take him down.

Has anyone noticed during conversations and cutscenes the lighting looks better? Then when they're over it goes back to looking worse.

What I do know is that I absolutely loath night time in this game. That is not dark ffs. There's so much light that you only need to change the sky texture to bright and voilla, you got freakin day time.

Also I'm amused how the sun comes up at 3:40AM. Is that something that's in the books?

Fuck this quest fail shit!
Still level 4 and wanted to go to do the play gwent with inkeeper and while i was riding horse i ran into some random even quest to kill few bandits didn't even had chance to refuse and there were level 9 and 10 guys so i ran away and after 10 min bang quest failed.....
Now im afraid the warewolf quest might fail too as i found it but its too strong for me on level 4.

Level 6

His health goes down a LOT faster if you hit him non stop, if you can manage to dodge his attacks

Yeah i was around the same level but i couldn't do it but i guess more factors are also in place. Game difficulty, distribution of the ability points, weapons and or other gear. The fight is for everyone different. Me for example only had my ability points in strong attack and Igni (which wasn't great for that fight either).

So no suprise many people ran into problems there because it was a hard (but not unbeatable) enemy at that point.

Can someone please give CDPR the rights for Star Wars already?
The basic gameplay is already there.

-Deep-voiced protagonist with a mentor complex? Check.
-Swordplay master? Check.
-Force Push? Check.
-Force Shield? Check.
-Jedi mind tricks? Check.
-Ability to deflect projects with his sword? Check.
-Card game even better than Pazaak? Check.

Cmon' don't bullshit me with this "Witcher" crap, everyone knows Geralt is a jedi Laughing

An Open-world game with all the Witcher 3 systems and gfx, but Star Wars themed would be So Much Win

Are you sure your computer is free of dust? Had a friend with downclocking issues (he had problems with his processor) and they disappeared after cleaning out the dust.

What's up with the absolutely retarded death "animation" of Geralt.. he completely stiffens and then makes a stupid jump Laughing worst i've ever seen in a game i think.

Great game though, just extemely inconsistent quality sometimes (though usually nothing that matters too much).

Are you sure everything is fine with your PC? Sad

With vsync off it reaches above 60:

How is it the same when the only thing that's the same (that matters for performance) is the GPU Razz
Sandy Bridge vs Haswell can be a huge difference for games like this, so it shouldn't be a side note.

No, EA can keep ruining that shit themselves instead of having CDPR wasting their time with it Mad

People keep saying you get less XP on death march but the rewards seem to be exactly the same when I test it across all the difficulties. What's the official word on this?

1080p.
Background Characters: High
Shadow Quality: Low

MBlur/Blur/AA/Bloom: On

Almost constantly 99% usage, almost constantly <60fps with ^^ those piss poor settings. It looks poor, runs poor. After 52 hours of this shit, I give up. I'm shelving it until nVidia stop crippling older cards or until CDPR learn to fucking optimise.

... and no, I don't care that it "runs great here!" for anyone else Sad

Do you have most things in "postprocessing" turned off? The Nvidia Gameworks hair thing seems to take a toll on GPU usage

Fucking great game still fucking around at level 4 Very Happy Didntplay that much though. Now I am inside of Ciris tight ass (I mean I can play with her ähhhh I mean I am fully in control of Ciri in that forest....). Interesting but not more. Ciri is only a story element for me. Big dick Geralt is the way to go.

Performance wise 1440p everything to max but without hairshit and without DoF and can play it perfectly BUT no Vsync cause cant really reach the 60fps that doesnt fucking work at all Sad Mostly not even the 50 but whatever.
