Last night I manage to finish all all consecutive heists w/ only randoms.. Although I did pick up a couple good players who came back to play a few w/ me it was a very stressful yet accomplished feat I must say lol... Had been playing solo since launch so this seemed the only way since I couldn't never catch any humpsters playing.. Well until today where I played pacific Standard all the way w/ DXWarlock, Dade and a random who was p good... So it is possible to play heist w/ randoms tho i would not recommend it !haha

End the end there is only the beginning of the end...
Does anyone here that paid for both a last gen console version (360/PS3) and the PC version feel a little ripped off after finishing the PC version? Yes sure the graphics are a little better, not ground breaking good but the experience, look and style of the game is the same. Maybe because my gaming PC is not that highend I didn't feel vowed.
I also looked at youtube videos of people running the game on $3000 rigs and comparing it to the 360 / PS3 versions it looked better but not that much better. Here is an example:
Then look at the crazy people in the comments saying the game is so much better on PC BUT that isn't taking into consideration that the reviews and comparison are running the game on a really high end rig compared to what most people have which is a $500 to $800 machine or even a cheap $400 PS4 and the last gen $200 consoles. The hype surrounding the PC release was BS because of this and I fell for it. NEVER AGAIN.
Bought it for ps3, pirated pc version with intention to replay it. Launched it, marvelled at graphics for a few moments, played couple of missions, then I didn't go back to it. Game is exactly the same as it was. Only thing that really changed was resolution. Maybe if they increased poly models it would look different, as it is I'd really feel foolish if I bought it again, but then again, I can't put blame on them, it is the same game after all.
I bought it on PS3, 360, PS4, PC, and I still have over 100 hours for it on Steam
If you like 'the same game' enough, it's really not an issue, and being able to aim with a mouse in a world without 800 layers of blur is a big selling point.

Wow, that was totally unexpected. I really feel for the people who payed whatever they payed for a graphics mod of a two year old game on PC.
(not saying the game is bad btw. Its really fun.)
"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."
Had it on 360, i think the PC version was worth buying, looks far better + first person mode is very well implemented, it doesnt feel like a mod at all.
My friend's kid (a 10 year old) have something like 1000h or whatever on the 360 version and he came by to see it on PC, he was really amazed and directly started talking about how he was going to save up for a PC (yeah, right).. i've never even heard him talk about graphics before heh
Haha well.. his father is a former bank robber (did 9 bank robberies in the 80's and 90's), i think he sees GTA as even more educational than school for the poor kid

Published ENBSeries 0.270 Beta for GTA 5. This is first version with very limited functionality mostly for testing how it works for different users and videocards. Please report to the forum (in download category) any bugs found which do not exist in vanilla game. Mod is developed for DirectX11 only and almost everything maxed in game video options, so it may not work otherwise. Do not run the game in online mode with ENBSeries installed, i'm not sure if you will be banned or not.
Didn't expect Boris to do a D3D11 version of ENB, guess a lot of people will be happy now depending on how this develops.

Sure it looks much clearer and less aliased on pc (although still somewhat too aliased for what it should be). The performance even on weaker pc can be limited to stable 30... but for what it's worth, I've finished 360 version and it was totally playable... even amazing for 10yo console. And it was back in... 2013 ? although it barely held 30fps and was aliased mess
The addition of fps view and mods might be enough for some, but if if someone finished it on old consoles and want to buy it just to simply replay the campaing ? not worth AT ALL. not at 60E and with this much space needed on hdd.... gta iv is better game anyway (flame shield - my controversial opinion)

Good that you had shit in your eyes and enjoyed it back then!
I was glad not buying it for my PS3, and being able to experience the right version on my PC.
