The strategy is same no? Win one round with as low number of strong cards as possible and force opponent to play as many strong cards he have in the round you lose on purpose and destroy in last round.
Also build strategy and don't put too many cards in main deck so you can get your best cards drawn every time.
Weather cards can be also used to kinda fake "pass" the ball to opponent.
My current starting deck is quite strong vs normal opponents i can make lots of points in any branch when i connect special abilities and special cards.
I'm very close to beat those special cards quests vs Baron and Novigrad guy - just need few more cards to further improve my links for strategies and will beat the shit out of them.
i beat the baron and most of the velen "masters" but i cant even touch novigrad players, theyre on a different level.
This is GOTY with no competition but i have a question can you play the same char once you've finished the game? new game+ or smth
Once you finish, you get to explore the world again to complete some of the sidequests, hunts and have fun. However, you won't be able to complete sidequests related to main story and important characters - all those become unavailable at some point of main story, at about 2/3 of the game (you will see a message on screen warning you about some important events ahead, so you can go back and finish your quests first).
I stumbled across a small dungeon and when I used witcher senses there was a sign resembling a hand near the dead end. Do I need a special item/ability to activate something there similar to the one that allows you to dispel illusions?

Tried blowing it out with Aard? Encountered a few breakable walls where the Aard icon didn't show at least as far as I could detect.
Noice, you can repeatedly get items from the people you play gwent against... gathered a ton of them from the guys on the "jenny o' the woods" contract

Wh... what? How? I thought you could only win one card from each player? I've tried replaying several Gwent players and only ended up getting wagered coin in return.

I find more and more NPCs who look the same. Tbh it's kinda distracting especially considering that these are not just walking mannequins, now that would be fine, but NPCs you talk to.
PS I've just found a group of children and their leader named Peter, who tells them they are gonna live in the woods and never grow up I like that this game has so many references to different films, books, etc

Yeah, also I'm way overleveled for the main quest (I was level 17 when I was doing level 11 MQ), so hey, if I don't get rewarded XP, it might actually be better
Yeah well fuck off I am lvl 6 and by far not Novigrad or any big place else. Its a fantastic game one should not rush at all. Once its done its fucking over.
How the fuck are you supposed to reach level 30+? I'm running out of things to do and I'm only level 22.
I dunno there is 268 quests, but still game guide says level 70 is max or total XP needed - 124000. Even with all quests and PoI i'm still not sure how you will gain all levels.

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
i guess this is a good time to profess my love for the game once again, it is the extremely rare case of a game exceeding my expectations nowadays and i never knew an open world game could be this emotional and atmospheric.
Wait mutagens wear off or what
I had strong monster red mutagen and now when i leveled up and went into abilities section to put new i see its gone
I got my removed when I crafted higher version of mutagen and one of the needed ones was in the slot.
Apart from this, nothing changed.
Yeah, this is another part of the UI that needs a *substantial* overhaul (1 extra year in development, right CDPR?) as store/crafting/alchemy tabs don't distinguish between inventory items and equipped items. You can easily dismantle or brew an item that takes it away from something you've equipped and are using >_<

For about 58 hours of my 63 hours playthrough (so far, haven't touched Skellige) I thought decoctions were one time use since they were so powerful Then I used one by accident and it turns out they work like any other potion and they refill automatically
silly Neona
Personally, I rarely use them.. their toxicity cost is too high and it means you can usually only use that one decoction, rather than several smaller - yet more beneficial - ones.
That's why i said the skill tree is OP. I 1-pointed a skill in the "potions" tree that gives you 1 toxicity for every recipe you have (it's in the first row). I have no idea where you see how many toxicity points you have, but i can use 2 decoctions, one golden oriole/black blood (depending what im fightning) and still use some healing potions if i needed without going full toxicity cause of that point
EDIT - nvm, found it:
