I also have to agree with Stefan here. After doing most of the quests there i felt like i was a courier at the end. Also most quests were pretty meh.

I neglected to explore this for 50hrs, for it to be largely full of buildings you can't even enter? I've only found 2 quests since I entered. What a disappointment |
Yep. Same here.

5000 doors? More lies from EAPRoject? I don't think it has even 500 doors. And there are many locked doors too.

They will fix the XP bug Monday.

Quote: | We would like to let everyone know that we are aware of the XP glitch players are reporting and we are working to have it fixed as soon as possible across all platforms (Monday for PC & patch 1.04 on consoles in the following days).
At the same time we want to shed some light on the issue. First of all, it doesn't impact the game balance in any significant way. Also, you will be able to finish the game with your character achieving a level within the threshold we had in mind when we designed the game.
We hope this clears things up a bit. Again, rest assured, we won’t stop working on improving the game and there are more patches coming in the near future. |

The impressive thing about Novigrad is not how many quests there are, it's the design of the city itself. It feels like a real city, as much as that's possible in a game. I can't think of any other game coming close.

That Marcin Momot has to be the worst community manager ever (barring maybe that Mighty No. 9 chick). Or he's just a reflection of CDPR's incompetence.
Now to play with no XP or no Witcher at all over the weekend... :S

Ugh, wonder if there is a way of downgrading to 1.03. Though I bet the saves won't be compatible.
Serpent in the staglands has bugs as well, otherwise I'd just play that this weekend.

Saves aren't compatible going backward as far as I can remember. It seems like there was a popup message about that after that first patch. Each save is stamped with the version in the thumbnail.
@theescapist... download the gog official patch. use that. doesn't matter if you have steam/yarr/your grandma's version.

I think everyone should just stop playing until the inevitable "Enhanced Edition" comes out next year.

Read somewhere that the 600 fix patch is actually the day one patch.
Ah, found it on eurogamer:
Quote: | We incorrectly reported this patch would include 600 fixes. CD Projekt was in fact referring to Witcher 3's day one patch here, not patch 1.03. We have edited the article for accuracy. We apologise for the confusion. |

I wonder if this only effects side quests, I'm doing some of the main missions at the moment and still seem to be getting XP.
I definitely didn't have them before 1.04.

Not getting any experience isn't too much of an experience loss! Enjoy becoming even more underleveled over the weekend!

Does this definitely effect MQs? The ones I did last night were giving XP.
I'm pretty close to the end, so not sure whether I should just risk it and continue or wait till Monday.

Supposedly it's only for MQs, or that's what I've read so far, and .. like every sodding bug .. isn't affecting everyone at the same time.
