Have you at least encountered the ongoing fights? Both my Velen and Novigrad fighting quests were triggered by approaching one of those when I saw them.
Only Novigrad, but that one is too high level right now. Supposedly they're fighting at the Inn at the Crossroads, yet when I go there there's nobody fighting. Do I have to progress in the MQ first? Haven't even done the Baron quests yet
I found those fist fights to be quite doable despite being underleveled for the quest. I don't think your actual character stats matter.
At the time I was lv7 and the quest was lv23 ... yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh not even going to try I still want to at least get the Velen fights going but I can't find any way to start it.
That video is total bullshit, on us ebay new 760 is over 350-400$ so I dont know where that guy took price of 350$ for whole system.
People sell shit for ridiculous amounts on ebay all the time. Doesn't mean people will buy it. You can find people trying to sell it for over $500. It'll never sell. I bought my 4GB N760 over a year ago and it cost $279 and used a $10 promo code. It's higher now because it isn't made anymore.
You can get the 4GB 960 now for $240 and that's with Witcher 3 thrown in. You can get a 2GB 760 for well under $200 if you dig a bit.
Thank you Neona, you're a star! Too many conflicting comments online, I needed something concrete I'm off to nail Keira, Madam Sasha and Jutta.... *then* dedicate myself to Yen

Those fist fights were super easy. All you had to do was wait for them to swing, right click to block and stagger them, and then wail the fuck out of them. Even the final one against Sergeant Asshat was a piece of cake.
I just realized the Temerian armor set in the beginning of the game levels up with you...as long as you don't buy it (ex. go back to the merchant at level 30 and it'll have higher stats and be more expensive). What sucks is if you buy it it stops leveling. I wish it kept scaling because IMO it's the best looking light armor in the game.
I tried that preset, following the link in the description. But it doesn't work, game hangs on launching, at the sweetfx notification. I guess it's that ReShade tool that's causing it. Too bad, video looks amazing.
Are you using any programs to limit the fps? (dxtory, rivatuner etc).
That preset looks terrible to me, it's just crushed and overdark for the sake of it

Haha, I guess you've not seen a Scandinavian spring/summer? It's 4:36AM right now and it's almost complete daylight, bright blue sky, whilst still being early spring for us. In a month or two, we'll have less than 3 hours of darkness a day... sun will never actually set, just dip down into the ocean for a short while around 12AM then rise again at 3AM.
It's definitely not unheard of for the sun to rise at 5AM in some countries
~game~
I finally got the Ciri sections... and she's awesome! Weak as a damned kitten though, her hits barely scratch wolves, but I love her Blink and the character/VA is great.

Seems you're right. Sun does come out at 4:14AM in Poland. Geez.
Oh man, this game. Just when I was thinking: "Oh look! Another Dandelion quest just to wrap it up" and bam! another great piece of mission design and writing
Where do these Dandelion quests start?
-------------------
The Ciri fight scenes are so boring till now. It's mostly just spamming the attack button and randomly teleporting around. Though teleport often is not even needed because her health regenerates so quickly.(second last difficulty setting)
And if you pick up loot from defeated enemies as Ciri, will it be transfered to Geralt? I just noticed that after a Ciri section my Geralt was overloaded
I also noticed that when your weapon is completely damaged, the damage lost is only about 10%. That's still fine to me, compared to wasting so much money for repairs

The trick is to just dodge when your opponent tries to attack you and immediately hit him after that either using your strong attack or a few normal attacks. This way I beat everyone in Novigrad and Velen although I was underleveled for some of them.
PS Btw it looks like a master armorer and a smith repair your items to 100%.
Bah. I lost 800 gold/credit/whatever it's called. Just disappeared out of my inventory after I bought the 70kg saddle. (and no, it wasn't the money that was used to pay for the saddle).
Finished the main story at about 90 hours, level 33. Quite some side quests left but I didn't really feel like doing everything... this way I'll have some completely new stuff left for my inevitable second playthrough.
~Combat - never really felt comfortable with it but it's serviceable
-Controls - Ignite?... fuck you candle, also unresponsive at times
-Inventory management - too many useless items, too many ingredients, it was a hassle to manage
verdict... immediately took a spot as one of my favourite games of all time. it was a great experience... too bad it had to end
-edit-
shit what do I do now? I went from 150 hours of Bloodborne to 90 hours of Witcher 3...2 of the best games I ever played... how can anything else possibly keep me interested now?
It'll all just seem inadequate... lol fuck

what about the quests that appear random on the map that are not on notice boards? are they triggered by something or they appear random? like if you need to explore the map by horse more
Aye, I had the same thought too but I already chose Triss in TW2, wanted to finish out Geralt's story "as it was meant to be", so to speak. Besides.. apparently Yen warms up quite considerably in the later half of the game's story.
Should Geralt choose Yen over Triss? I can't figure that one out. I'm playing this as "Geralt of Rivia" as much as I can, but the Yennefer thing is bothering me. They shiould have a strong connection, but we didn't see that in the previous games., so it's a bit difficult to connect to her over Triss. Can anyone who has read the books comment? Yes I know it's my game and I shiouldn't care, but I'm Geralt of Rivia dammit
What an awesome game. I'm still only level 13 and I enjoyed every minute of it. This is one of the few games I take time for a stroll, chilling in Novigrad. It's also surprisingly challenging even when you're high level, I think monsters have a range in which they scale. Not giving XP when you're 5 levels higher is also a very wise decision. In most RPGs this would lead to skipping quests, but in this one I wouldn't even think of such a blasphemous thing, even if I don't get any XP
If the later parts are rushed like most games, missing the extreme attention to detail, I'll be pissed
