Once you get far enough in the game, it ends up pretty much unplayable due to the awful performance. Dropping down to low 20s during heavy firefights, of which there are plenty. Utterly ruins this game
Yep now that I played more the game is pretty much a piece of shit. A lot of people probably bought it because they thought they were sticking it to the SJW's, but that's not a good reason if the game sucks.
WTF is it with the controls again? Movement is just as sluggish as in Witcher 3, and aiming with the mouse is all but impossible. How do you enable hardware acceleration for mouse?
At this rate I'll prolly just install zombie shooter/alien shooter vengeance.

After some struggle I got around wearing the leather coat to join the Hatred party massacre (first three chapters).
The game itself is not a big deal really, a simple pew pew timewaster with some lite destruction, cheesy lines and glitches, which is practically what I was expecting so it's all good. It's simplistic dumb fun for some time, for me it serves its purpose nicely as a virtual way to let off some steam, and that's it.
I still can't believe people went berzerk for this, it's not even that brutal or shocking, just silly as hell. Once again it shows how moronic the Derp Justice League from twittland and the likes is, with the fake politically correctness and amount of frustrated egos. Ironically with their tears they provided free advertising so no one can complain.

The performance is pretty damn bad here too when there's a lot of stuff going on, as well as the AI routines: I holed up in a building with 20 Swat guys trying to break in, and the whole thing ended with them killing each other while pushing to reach the second floor like a brutal Benny Hill episode

What the hell. I cant get a stable 30fps on maxed settings. vsync lowers it even more, only shadows help but on low/none setting, the game looks bland....
think I am gonna skip tihs one as it really is more "requiring" than witcher 3

There's nothing wrong with the game itself, it's a typical isometric twin-stick shooter like Alien/Zombie Shooter. It's a fun if repetitive timewaster, nothing special but nothing terrible either, the "controversy" was just ridiculous as this does nothing that wasn't done nearly twenty years ago with Postal 1. If you can get the broken piece of trash to actually work properly then you can get a good few hours therapeutic gunning done before it goes back on the shelf while we all wait for Alien Shooter 3 ^_^

What hardware do you have, I can't maintain 60 fps even on the lowest settings with a 970. I lowered the resolution from 1440p to 1080p and still couldn't.

1080p with a GTX970 and 3570K @ 4,2GHz. The framerate is absolutely abysmal. Cant even have stable 60fps with the lowest settings. You have some sort of crazy setup?

I wouldn't say it isn't fun, at all. For what it is, I'd say it's got decent mechanics, yet he makes it sound like the worst game of recent years.

I take claims of "running great" with a grain of salt unless they show proof. There was one instance recently where a guy on the Witcher 3 Steam forum said that the game was running great on his old PC, then revealed he was getting 15-20 fps and considered that playable.
