Probably wouldn't move in with her without having some kind of safety net - like the ability to move out, back to your parents, on a whim.
The relationship sounds volatile. Do you really want to be with her or is it just because you are so used to it that you wont leave?
Also, fhitb.

For me it boils down to this one line.
NEVER do something life changing just for the sake of someone else unless its already a long established relationship and family, and even then only with caution depending on the situation.
Dont live your life as "I need someone to make me happy" take some of the words out and its more true "I need to make me happy".
Do you wan to get a job right now? do you want to have kids, a family? Do what makes you a happy, stable, person you respect and have self worth from, no one else can give you that in any relationship.
Im not giving advice either for or against. As we dont know the whole spectrum of the situation. But regardless of it in all regards: Do what makes you a better, happier, more stable, enjoying life person for yourself not counting anyone else in that decision. If that leads you towards or away from her is your call.
Two people should be moving and growing in life together in the same direction by choice, not moving in the same direction because of the other. I have yet to know a truly happy couple after a few years when one of them did things they though would make the other happy, and in turn THOUGHT it would make them happy...it just became resentment, feeling trapped, and as if they didn't make the important choices for themselves.

renting a flat together (maybe without a defined lease?) would be a small start, and then work on your relationship when you live together. dynamics of a relationship really change when you do that since you're really in it together without anywhere to run off to. I lived with my wife for almost 5 years before we got married (and then another couple after that before we had a kid). I think we really learned that we could weather any storm between us.
And yes, we both work on our drinking since we both do a fair amount and really that's the only time we get into any sort of argument (not to mention the added calories in our diets).
