I really liked iRacing, but I couldn't get past the 2nd ' training thing'..whatever it was.
Where you had to use the starter car to do testing races and make an entire race without offtrack, bumping, or any of that.
I played it about a month until I realized I was paying a sub to race the same race over and over again and fail for the smallest infraction
If it was free I would have stuck with it until I got it down pat.

There is Raceroom. And Game Stock Car Extreme is also well played. It's definitely not just a rfactor mod, but right there with the best on the market. Cheap as well.
its ea, they gave them so much money for an exclusive deal that they couldnt say no (and they dont have to deal with other inquires from developers)
They shot themselves in the foot promotionwise, tho. Corvette had huge success advertising c7 in Gran Turismo. So did Toyota with ft-1. No wonder at all that you see all the major players in it's gt vision project, and no wonder that you see factories happily giving right to their cars to every other racing game.

we activated the "Racing Icons Car Pack" to all the Full Members and above (Full Members, Seniors, Managers and Senior Managers) on Steam.
Due to the parties involved, it isn't always possible to communicate in advance about which DLC's you're entitled to receive for free (the contents that have been funded by using the WMD members budget). We're sorry for those ones who purchased it already (I did it myself!), we'll try to inform you before the next time.

With those two the main-menu, videos, in-game HUD and in-game menus now work correctly with Oculus Rift - they are over-layed onto a 3D quad that is locked to the head view. It's by no means perfect, but a significant step forward nonetheless!

nope cause steam dlcs get activated by the emu. the files are already there cause there was no patch in the last days. the files were there even prior official release and thats why full members and above get them for free cause they were already done with the crowd founding money (time stamps of all car files are 23th april for me)
