And that's good. It does a good job making you feel that you influenced the outcome at the same time reminding you that you cannot control everything.

Exactly. In that quest like in a few others, there's simply no absolute "good ending".

Is it possible to sprint in combat? I hate it especially when shooting down flying enemies, but can't run to their knocked out bodies fast enough Embarassed

Rolling is pretty much a must against those big ass flying enemies with a big reach.
Also nice to set someone on fire at a distance, then roll right behind them and hammer them on Twisted Evil

Tbh I didn't expect combat to be so much improved over TW2. I really hated combat in the second game. Here it is fun despite some camera positioning flaws. It is also way more tactical.

It's probably a pretty even split among the 3 platforms, nothing out of the ordinary. PS4 probably got a little more than the PC, but that's because all marketing gameplay was released on PS4.

Don't know about rolling, sprinting, but not being able to jump while fighting is stupid or i don't know how. Sometimes i end up cornered against small fence and i can't jump over it - this is super annoying.

Unless they are lying to make Galaxy look better that's quite a change. I remember for Witcher 2 2/3 of the sales were through steam. If GOG is the leading platform it's a pretty impressive change.

I got a Witcher 3 key with a new NVIDIA card that had to be activated through GOG. I guess those got to account for something as well.

There must have been a door there in the wall, when I came in.

Well, the price on GOG was pretty nice.
Especially with discounts for having previous parts.

Well, GOG is more popular now than it was back then, and with the abovementioned discounts and those Nvidiot bundles coming with GOG codes it makes sense.

You know, I give Witcher 3 a lot of shit over the poor lighting and all sorts of graphical stuff that annoys me (mostly because I can see that they do have the system in place to make it look so much better but they just won't. whether because of console lack of power or whatever) but sometimes it does look really good.

anyone knows, if i can bind the command "testpause/testunpause" to a key?
or even better a toggle key?

its kinda hard to capture the right scene, when having to go into the console first and then enter the command...

@zibztrollingme

Yup, I've seen some gorgeous shots.. (un)surprisingly wandering through thick woods at night, or midday, with the moon/sun light shining through the branches. Gorgeous.

@Theescapist

RIN, as always Smile RIN always has everything to do with Steam - and they also tend to have GOG patches too. Look for RIN Steam on Google.

Cutscenes can be a bit of a issue unless you have the commands pre-typed and use the up and down arrow keys to quickly switch between pause and unpause but for normal gameplay you can press ESC to bring up the main menu and pause the game that way and then use the console command to pause and when closing the menu the game will still be paused until you use the other command. Smile
