I guess it makes sense to have a separate thread for this, especially now that the steam sales have started.

Kudos for the topic
I agree with fable2. Don't Starve is worth it if you like (hard) survival games.

I'd recommend it. They're not making progress very quickly, but what's there is amazing.
Driving online is just mad fun. Put over 40 hours into it already despite the limited track and car selection in the alpha.

Also doubt it'll be any cheaper until after the final release.

Metro Redux bundle at 8 euro?! Definitely worth it. Usually it's 20 euro at a sale.

And Toy Soldiers for 5 euro, i'd say it's a nice deal. The games are tremendously fun.

Do you get Don't Starve together for that price too?

If I remember correctly, only the ones who bought the base game before Day X will get the Don't starve together for free, otherwise it's purchasable as a separate game.

And there's also one dlc (something something giants)

The bundle:

4,74€

Don't Starve Together suppose to have all above but it's 10€.

Don't starve and Metro definitely.

Wreckfest: I would wait for the next sale and see their progress, most likely will even take until Xmas sales because they are quite slow. I didn't think there was enough there yet.

The others I haven't tried out yet.

I was thinking of getting these even before the sale, and now it's $30 for both

Also considering some of the modern CODs for SP only, I haven't played one for years

Space Engineers can theoretically be really cool...

It would just need some massive servers where people could actually play as groups etc...
I think the current servers will lag out to hell if you have 20+ players and everyone has their own dreadnoughts.

Without other players it's pointless. (Well.. like minecraft, you play until until you've seen most things and that's it)

I pirated CoD MW3, Ghosts and AW just for the SP.

I still shead a tear when I think of the wasted time searching for the nzb, downloading, installing and actually playing that crap. Even the bad SP of BF4 was better than AW and the BF3 SP campaign was better than both...

None of the newer CoD was anything like the original CoDs or the first two Modern Warfares.
Verdict: CoD's are not worth a buy for SP.

@Interinactive SE was $8.99 with the Humble Bundle, there's keys starting at £5 man, rather get one of those instead of buying it from Steam for much more.

I was disappointed with it, it has a very limited time it grabs you. Think after a few hours I was already done with it. I had a lot more fun and time with Kerbal Space Program.

Reason why I'm holding off on Medieval, fearing I'll have the same experience. So I'll have to demo it first someday.

Got myself:

Deponia
Edna & Harvey
Postal 2 (classic just to add upon the Library)
BG&E
Out there somewhere (terribly cheap and looked cool alongside good reviews)
To the Moon (self explanatory, saw a video of it and loved it)

all for £6,39. First four are those I've been wanting since ages.

Haven't played those but I kind of enjoyed both BO and BO2 SP campaigns.

Seems very old school MMO like Everquest and SWG, looks nice and review are nice.

Anyone tried it?

It does seem to be good. But EA for the alpha version of a MMORPG where you will spend MANY hours in? NOPE.

They are basicly asking you to pay for beta testing, for a future F2P game. If you are fine with that I would say it's worth it.

I for one, can't accept that. Seeing I beta tested many MMO's for free for almost two decades, so I will not tolerate this approach.

But about the game: a lot of ex-SWG players love it, so if that is your thing the game will be good for you.

Hmm The Evil Within's Season Pass is 9,99€ which is the lowest official price so far. It is few euros chepaer on G2A but it is definitely not worth the risk and possible bullshit what might come from G2A.

Has anyone played those chapters? According to steam reviews this should be pretty good amount of content for this price?

I've only played the first episode and half of the second one, had to stop because it was getting worse and worse (and I liked TEW a lot). The DLCs are made by a different designer, with big focus on the (badly made) stealth and there's an awful lot of hand-holding. I wouldn't recommended them to be honest. Razz (Consolitis has managed to finish 'em all, and he wasn't happy either)

I have it and it, so far sucks Razz

It could be that they have not finished the beginning, but it feels very aimless.
