Same, she's a fking bitch at the start, and remains like that for the better portion of the game. And then... She started to grown on me after that "Yen-Focused" questline.

Something happens in the game, a quest to be more specific, that changes that lack of "independent thinking" of Geralt towards Yen.

Wow, fucking cool. I think I'll go back, play the Jen version and then for my second playthrough I'll see what influence it'll have to play the triss way  Thanks guys!
BTW how far am I in the game if I just had to make this decision?
Please tell me <50%, this game is so awesome :'(
I've completed every single contract/side quest/main quest/treasure hunt til this point that is below level 13 (I'm level 15 and the "now or never" quest was at level 14). GoG Galaxy says I'm at 25 hours, but I doubt it, I think it's more...

Edit: But then again I was like level 19-20 when I had to make the decision so it's a bit rough to estimate how many of the sidequests you have done.

Hotfix 1.06 has just been released for PC. Please check the list of changes below.
- Fixes the endless loading screen when fighting the Ice Giant during the quest 'Lord of Undvik'
- Geralt's clothes will no longer be wet after leaving the menu
- The gate in the crypt now works correctly during the quest 'Scavenger Hunt: Viper School Gear'
- Fixes the lack of interaction with Roche on Oxenfurt Bridge in the quest 'Get Junior'
- Fixes an issue that prevented players from creating more than one item via Crafting/Alchemy

What the hell. Anyone else might have worse performance with 1.06?
It seems i lost about 5 fps now. I had 40-45 before most of the time

Upgrading to an MSI GTX 970 for this game was definitely worth it. One of the best games I have played, and I'm only level 6 due to time and clearing through the map where possible.

Supposedly Heart of Stone expansion takes place during the Velen/Novigrad storyline. Blood and Wine is rumored to be placed after end game state or really late in the story. There's nothing official, so it might be just bullshit and speculation. The information about the first one might be plausible, because it takes place in Oxenfurt and you're introduced to the city somewhat early in game.

I bet Shani will be in the first expansion. The Oxenfurt university currently is closed for some reason, and she works there. Plus the info for the expansion said you will meet "dearly missed" characters.
