You’re 18. You’ve got the whole life ahead of you. Once you finish school opportunities will open up and then you won’t have to see that bitch ever again if you choose so.

Bobbies, y'all need to relax. Y'all can ignore certain posts. Read a little bit into the text and move on. No need to go on crazy about it.

Any one can move out at any time, bro.
But unless you want to live on the streets you need a flat of your own.
To get that you need a job.

To get a decent job to allow you to pay for the flat, food, clothes, car etc
You need decent school credits.

You can go straight into construction.
Money is good but the hard work and stress could get to you.
And starting in low level construction will get you treated like shit by your boss and everyone else. Sad

I moved out at 16 cause I was pissed of at my parents attitude towards my then girlfriend (now wife)

End of the day, I lived in a shithole for 2 years because I couldnt afford any better.

It was the best thing I ever did, i thought I knew everything then (didnt we all) but I had to learn the hard way.

But at the end of the day I now respect the fact that when you live under someone else's roof (be it your parents, a friend or whomever) you live by there rules unless you are especially lucky.

Ok, charlie brown, now you gotta ask him if he can afford moving out then suggest it again.

lol, now there is something I have never been called before =D

Anyone saying they cant afford to move out is talking complete bollocks.

what they actually mean is they are not willing to take shit jobs and live in a shithole.

As long as you are willing to take shit work, and live in a dump until you can get a better job / afford something better, then you can move out.

There are always shit jobs and shit bedsits etc... avalable.

anyways

me and my mom had a fight recently about her drinking and now shes not been drinking for 2 days Smile yeey but i wonder how long she will keep it up Rolling Eyes

@|nSaNe you didnt move out alone, you had your gf. i'd do the same (to some extend) if i had a gf, propably living with her house but i dont have one

so what your saying is that because my mother gave birth to me she can systematicelly break me down

thats pretty funny Laughing

that was just in reply to him thinking your parents can do everything they want you just cause they gave birth to you

Quote:
Dont get me wrong, she could eventually end up doin shit to ruin your relationship...but from the sounds of it, shes just bein a mom and the worst she's doin is pissing you off - which all moms do, part of life

the worst she is doing is drinking 2 bottles of wine and half a bottle of strong liquer when she gets home from work every day, sometimes 1 bottle of wine + the liquer but no less. try talking to that.
Even worse is that she remembers everything when she is drunk, she just doesnt realize she was drunk so even worsererererer.

im feeling better although im sick now.

Still man...bring up her drinking to her...like, obviously dont go up to her and say "hey u dumb drunk bitch, im pissed because etc etc" Laughing

Save/work, take her out to dinner or something and approach it in a mature fashion. Who knows, she may be surprised u noticed or by the way ur expressing yourself and may make a change or come to an understanding with you

Seriously, try it...if talkin doesnt work, and the person is too stubborn, after numerous attempts at trying to repair the relationship, then I'd say fuck it. But yellin or bitchin or whatever about your issues wont get you far

Smile

seriously thats a great idea, atleast if the attempts fail i wont feel guilty for anything

i'll take her out for a drink . dinner is a good idea but really she would keep drinking wine or whatever cause she doesnt drink sodas, no way she would drink water with a meal so whats left: milk?orange juice?.
but doing something special for her and thn gently bringing up the subject is a good idea

she sounds like an alcoholic to me. You can't reason with her at all. Take her to AA and make her stay off the drink. She either knows she's an alcoholic but wont admit it and tells u to stop drinkin because she doesnt want u to see it or she's just still fucked up and isn't aware of what she's doing.

If you talk to her before she starts drinkin then maybe you might have some effect on her other than that it's hopeless trying to be nice and then ending it with a slap down discussion.

my mom and dad were always old school, really strict and everything, no drinking, no going out late etc.
did that really stop me? no, i sneaked out at night, drank, smoked weed,
sure it got me a couple of bruises from dad and mom was crying a few times, but thats life,
you cant tell someone strictly what to do and what not.
