3 days ago I had something very spicy which made my mouth hurt on the right side a bit. I thought nothing of it then but 2.5 days ago, I ate lunch and my mouth hurt like crazy.
After that with each passing hour it tends to get more and more painful such that while I was able to eat everything before, now I can't eat anything hard and hot because it very painful.
Not only that but I have a perpetual headache in the right area which has made me wake up at night for the past 2 days. Not to mention how I've had a constant minor pain in my head because of this.
The weirdest thing is that it's not an ulcer but maybe a cut as I can't feel any mark or bump in the back right of my mouth. The only saving grace here is that my teeth are fine but I've never experienced pain like this on my tongue before.
1 and 2 are still amazing.

I saw things like that in here and in other "woman problems" topics so...... Am I the only one that thinks some authorities needs to be alerted about Saner and him possibly being a rapist and/or kidnapper ?

Actually I visited a dentist today. Should have written that in the post but he gave me the all clear for my teeth and even he couldn't find anything on my tongue. He then said that it's all in my head due to stress

I know you all are finding it funny but this constant pain is leaving me exhausted and tired. Eating anything solid is impossible, I've only been able to drink cold water and eat yoghurt but that too with a lot of effort. Using some mouth gel but it only gives about a few minutes worth of numbness.

@Il_Padrino: No, dentist dismissed sinusitis. But muscular pain.. you might have a point there as the pain is very localized to a particular area that could be another thing I could check.
@Invasor: Pain is just on the back of the tongue and the right side. Swallowing food and drinking water is pain. Going to look for a new dentist instead of the old one who said "it's in my head"

Dammit Yurina :<, really don't hesitate to see more doctors, even if it's likely nothing serious despite the pain (still not enough proof to exclude aids mind you xD).
If I could guess I'd say inflamed nerve as well. Hopefully you'll find out soon, just don't visit any of those shady shamans
One day I drank concentrated (more like non-dilluted) sea-buckthorn juice and that shit burned my mouth and throat mucous coat. That's all. You have the same thing but due to spicy stuff. Avoid acid and spicy and hot etc logical drinks until it goes away. I haven't taken a single medication - just stopped eating, drank warm water with honey and waited.
Today I didn't even need to use my AK. I gotta say it was a good day. (c) - Ice Cube
@Waargh: No, this is much worse than that. That same thing has happened to me and it was much more manageable than what I went through this week
After visiting the troll dentist, I went to see an ENT specialist. Padrino and ixirina were right. I'm suffering from inflamed nerve(s?) under the tongue.
Good news is that the area of effect has reduced to a smaller spot but the pains is more intense there. Already been 6 days... hope it gets better tomorrow.
